I tested one of my neighbors by making up a conspiracy story Fake News if you like. I have posted thus ditty here as a joke of course. You may have seen the BS story I will sarcastically post about Obama having had a Mosque built in the 3rd sub-basement of the WH. I told my neighbor that Obama had Nixon's bowling ally turned into a Mosque since the lanes ran West to East so it was a natural setting fir the Obama Mosque.

That neighbor only watches Fox so I Good him that us where I heard the story so he had no inkling or even any desire to verify if I was joking or not he just believed it. Like most RW extremists he so badly wanted the story to be true that he just accepted it.

Well the replies are about what I expected, the people who believed he was going to take the guns away are rationalizing why it was not silly to believe such a notion. My favorite is the one suggesting he couldn't propose such a thing because he had just signed healthcare reform.. because that makes perfect sense right, once you sign healthcare reform you can't pass gun regulation. That's civics 101, right?

and then the other one suggesting that guns are banned in California.. that's news to me being a gun owner myself in California. We did pass new regulations on firearms, the most strict ones being the laws that were determined by California voter propositions this past November.. I guess that settles it, Obama really was planning on taking all the guns away. Logic!
