Obama tries to explain "You didn't built that" through attack ad

Very good words from Romney. Obama should have said similar kind things about business owners. Instead he mocked them saying how he's always struck by how they think they're so smart.

Now imagine of Romney took that attitude. "I'm always struck by how these olympians think they're so strong and smart. Yet people invested in them, listen, if you won a medal, you didn't earn that! Someone else made that happen." You think that would have been received well?

 

It has not happened so far.

In spite of all the lib brainwashing in the public schools and universities and the lib popular media a certain number of people in every generation will see the light and become conservatives.

So it's libs predicting a lib nirvana just over the horizon who are delusional.

I'm always struck by how these olympians think they're so athletic and hard working. Olympians are recipients of a great Olympic system that gives them the roads to olympic prosterity! If you make the olympic team- you didn't do that. Someone else made that happen.

 

Another example of the right's inability to accept that some ideas take more than a bumpersticker to articulate. And it would also seem that a small slip in grammar by Obama (should have said "those" instead of "that") makes his comment somehow controversial.

And so we see this wonderful example of propaganda where the comment is taken out of context which assigns an entirely different and unintended meaning to it and broadcast to the waiting right wing masses who are prepared to beleive everything FoxNews tells them to. The right's propaganda machine has their constituency's average intelligence/education matrix pegged.

Believe the drivel. What a way to run the worlds only remaining superpower.

You dialed in the coordinates on your crystal ball of where Obama was speaking and it tells you and only you what Obama meant to say but was too stupid to say when he was off the teleprompter.

 

Who cares if he is trying to clear it up? What else would you expect him to do? Anyone with half a brain who listened to the whole clip knows what he was saying. There are always going to be those tools out there who need to believe the bull(*)(*)(*)(*) because they need to confirm their own bias even if it mean being willfully ignorant but to think he Obama shouldn't point it out is absurd.

neither Romney nor Obama was saying people did not deserve a pat on the back for their accomplishments, they were just pointing out there were many that helped them reach their full potential

I do not expect a tax discount for buying more stuff and I do not think the rich should get a tax discount for earning more money... simple

Agreed, very kind words. He led with individual achievement, hard word, determination and added in how much those who love them helped them to get there. Respectful.

Why is the left trying so hard to make Obama look good on this issue? Why don't they just admit that they agree with the socialistic ideal and move on. Could it be they do not agree with socialism and hence will not accept that Obama leans that way? Liberal logic escapes me.

The left should just be honest. First they tried to say Obama was correct in what he said. That didn't play well because you can't be so blunt about socialism. Now they claim he meant something else hoping it will play well. Cat is out of the bag libs. Crap is on your face, but you didn't xxxx that.

 

B*llsh*t! It really is simple at this point...if you want/need support from the government (taxpayers) to survive, you will most certainly vote for Obama. If you have a shread of self-respect and you want the government to stay out of your life, and leave you with the ability to someday feel pride in self accomplishment, than you will vote Romney. Got it? I will choose the latter every single time, no matter how difficult it may make getting ahead. It's worth it.

 

I do believe that liberals adore socialism, but it has to be a secret. When the majority of the country disagrees with it (thank God). Liberals must try and make it happen in secret. Sometimes the secret comes out, like in this instance when Obama told us exactly what he believes. What's a liberal to do? Deny is all they can do...and the proof is right here on this thread.

Looks like the liberal finally stopped trying to defend their idiot boy president on the "You didn't build that" boner. It took almost two weeks for them to realize they were digging their hole deeper. But the damage has been done. A remarkable moment of honesty from the Liar in Chief just turned away millions of voters. Too bad the voters didn't realize the depth of the problem when they voted him into office.
