^can we stop the bs of this line?

After Newtown, Obama had some proposals. He proposed banning "assault weapons". He proposed banning "high capacity magazines" (magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds).

While in office, Obama gave high praise to the gun "buyback" programs like those of Australia. And before leaving Office, a regulation was set in place so that those who were receiving disability benefits for mental health conditions would have it reported to NICS, essentially disbarring anyone receiving disability benefits for a mental health condition of the right to defend themselves effectively.

Yes, most every attempt made by Obama failed or has been turned back. But stop pretending like Obama didn't take anyone's guns away for lack of trying.

Obama didn't want to take your guns.

He wanted to limit capacity. That isn't taking your gun.

He supported the buyback program - a voluntary program. That isn't taking your guns.

He didn't want crazy people to have guns. No comment.

It shows Obama FAILED at everything he tried to do LEGALLY (through the legislature).

So he slipped in yet another executive order on his way out the door.

He wanted to and even stated he would like to include handguns in a ban with alleged 'assault weapons'. He wanted to, he had the Constitution to deal with.

I don't think you understand what the Australian buyback program was. It was a *mandotory* turn'em-all-in kind of buyback.

How do you define "crazy"? Especially with a one-size-fits-all proposal from the federal government! This is what they did in Germany prior to and during WWII.

Please list the EO or the House or Senate bill numbers of these proposals. Thank you.

Yes it is. Oh come on - are you going to tell me that someone isn't opposed to Freedom of the Press if they just want to say it can only be distributed in print?

And that would make guns illegal. You could sell your gun back, or when you die it's just taken away.

These programs ultimately have the same effect as the bans - they just take slower steps to the same end.

Woah - you're calling combat vets with PTSD "crazy people"? That's real ****ed up dude.
