I think the Snopes article shows the mindset of the person who sent out the email, which is full of lies.

 

I call them as I see them. I try to reserve calling a Birther a racist for when a birther shows his true colors. A number of ardent Birthers on these boards have 'outed' themselves as racists who just coincidentally can't believe that the first black man elected President in the United States is eligible.

I have never claimed that all Birthers are racists, but some are demonstrably so. Further- BY the standards of Birthers themselves, I could justify calling them all racists- because Birthers are fine with labelling President Obama many things- including being a racist, but also including but not limited to: Kenyan, Un-American, criminal, corrupt, treasonous, Marxist, Homosexual, Indonesian, based upon nothing but speculation and innuendo.

Seriously, if a Birther feels entitled to declare that President Obama is not eligible, despite all of the evidence that he is- why is it wrong for me to call a Birther racist based upon nothing more than the fact that the only President- or Presidential candidate- that they have ever held to this standard is the only black face in a field of white faces?

I try really, really hard not to sink to the level of Birthers, and try to stick to the facts. But sometimes I succumb to temptation and just say what is the obvious implication of the actions of Birthers.

Yes, the tube is a hodgepodge of comments made over years of Obama's career and if not actually in his voice and with a great deal of corroborating action, might be questionable. The point is fits my point, that Obama is NOT comparable to any past President and may well be acting on other that the interest, of Americans. His 2004 DNC speech is readily available as well as the others the tube was taking quotes.

For the record, I had a hard time digesting 9-11-03 and reliving it this 9-11 was tougher than I expected, only to wake up the next day to a "here we go again scenario", disgusting.

I see it was presented a few minutes earlier in "current affairs", which I had not seen. What worries me most, is that many folks are refusing to accepts, the Muslim Faith, however accepted through his life is affecting world affairs, IMO negatively.

 

It is not just a 'hodgepodge of comments made-as the Snopes article pointed out it was deliberately misleading and full of outright lies.

this is an interesting interview. zullo makes the point that if the pdf wasn't made by the state of hawaii. i'm not sure if a pdf, being virtual is even relevant. i'm still asking the questions, why is there a high resolution copy, and why did the "document" pdf need to be and how specifically was it embelleshed as ivan zatkovich first attested .

Who cares? Hawaii has said the birth certificate is genuine, and the PDF is a copy of the birth certificate.

Why would Hawaii certify a fake? It makes zero sense and is logically impossible, since Hawaii has no need to certify a fake, since they could make a real one that says whatever they want.

It's like arguing that Leonardo DaVinci is going around certifying fake DaVinci paintings to make money... He could just make a real one that looks like whatever he wants.

an interesting side bar. obama is slippery, but he'll get caught. even above board, his credibility is shot. his policies never took flight. it doesn't make sense that the near/mideast is on fire, after that nice speech he gave in cairo. all those years as a student and community organiser should have been enough to have cleared things right up.

i suppose this means we'll have to wait to lower the tides.

While not all are what "corruption*" means to me, many involve his "oath of office" or his declaration to uphold the Constitution and IMO could be used as grounds of impeachment, conviction and removal from office.
