Democratic Rep. Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez and her top aide are no longer board members of the outside PAC credited with orchestrating her political rise, according to a corporate document filed Friday to a Washington, D.C., agency.

The New York Democrat and her chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, who served as her campaign chair, joined the board of Justice Democrats in December 2017, according to the political action committee’s website. It also said the two held “legal control over the entity” at the same time it was playing a key role in supporting Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign prior to her shock victory over incumbent Democratic Rep. Joe Crowley in June 2018.

Ocasio-Cortez and Chakrabarti were officially removed from Justice Democrats’ board on March 15, according to a corporate document filed that day to the Washington, D.C. Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs.

Ocasio-Cortez never disclosed to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) that she and Chakrabarti controlled Justice Democrats while it simultaneously supported her primary campaign.....snip~

Ahahahaha…..AOC is trying to get out of the trouble she is caught up in. Now they have the date they were removed from the board. But the Lame Stream sure did try and minimize the exposure.

    • Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has ties with Organize for Justice, a 501(c)(4) dark money group that trains progressive organizers across the country. Ocasio-Cortez serves on the board of Justice Democrats, the “sister organization” of the dark money group.
    • Ocasio-Cortez once called dark money the “enemy of democracy.”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has ties with a dark money group that trains progressive organizers on how to lead grassroots political campaigns across the country.

The group, Organize for Justice, is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, meaning it can raise unlimited sums of money without having to disclose the identity of its donors to the public.

Organize for Justice’s website states that it is the “sister organization” of Justice Democrats, the PAC that, according to corporate filings, Ocasio-Cortez and her chief of staff have held control over since December 2017.....snip~

Lets give it some time. Crimes may emerge.

In the mean time has failed to live up to her own groups standards.

The corruption starts early with these socialists.

If crimes emerge, then we'll move on to someone else we think champions our causes. With us, it's policy. With you guys it's personality.

I take it very seriously, and it bothers me my own party doesn't, but I understand the politics of it. You have to win first, and climate change, sadly, is not a priority to a lot of people. But if there's even a 10% chance our species is in existential peril, we should be doing everything in our power to change that. We fail as a species.

Think of it like this: suppose there was a huge asteroid that in 2050 had a 10% chance of hitting us. Wouldn't you do something about that to make the chances zero? Of course you would, and the sooner you deal with it, the better. Climate change is no different, except the same scientific community that would tell you there's a 10% chance is telling you there's a near 100% chance.

Climate change is a sham political tactic.

There is always climate change, and the models the lefts projections are based on are off.

Get back to us when even one democrat starts acting like the world is going to end in 10 years.

If you saw the trajectory of an asteroid sure..

"climate Change" not so much. We have a ton of "models" for hurricanes paths and much of the time they are quite wrong.. Now imput 100x that data for global climate and then try to predict 50 years or more into the future... /rolls eyes.

No they're not. If the weather service predicts a hurricane will hit the East Coast five days before impact, it's not going to hit Japan. THAT would be "quite wrong". Usually the forecasts are incredibly accurate and have saved countless lives over the years.

The broad trajectory of global warming is clear: increase the GHG concentrations and the Earth will warm. Why on Earth would you even take a chance messing around with Earth's climate? It's like playing Russian Roulette. What a colossally idiotic thing to do.

A hurricane forecasted to hit Miami and instead days later hits near Tampa is "quite" wrong for those having to deal with said hurricane.. You are talking a mistake of a few days with the best data we have and you think we can predict decades into the future on a much larger scale of data with far more room for error?

Ok scenario for you... in 1900 a massive disease wipes out man kind what would the Global Climate be compared to what it actually is?

One person's near miss is another person's "quite wrong", but the fact remains that the predictions are close enough to have saved many many lives over the years.

It depends on what you're predicting. We can predict the planet's orbits with accuracy for millions of years, provided some wandering black hole doesn't enter the system. The climate is trickier, but in a general sense, if you increase GHG's, you're going to get warming. We've observed this and the science on GHG's is so rock solid, only a fool would question it.

    This ^^ is confusing.

Let me ask you: if climate-systems really are extremely hard to predict, would you really want to introduce gigatons of stuff into the air that you know, on a small scale, lead to warming? To me, that sounds recklessly stupid. So incredibly stupid, that I can't fathom the thinking required that would lead to that kind of risk being acceptable. Actually, I can fathom the thinking, quite easily: it's called wishing the problem would go away.

"Close enough" in a few days worth of data is going to be miles wide in 50 years.
