    what I'm looking for, and the author did not provide was whether or not people of color were actually denied the use of the pool or was there simply a sign hanging up?

    Yes, a visiting black was denied. Don't know about the OP article, but I read a story on it a few days ago. I believe there was evidence that the presence of a visiting black is what prompted the sign.

    Trying to imagine the dinner table of this woman when first wondering what to do. :)

    "There's a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) visiting. We gots to do something".

    If it didn't come out earlier, at least one reporter was able to ask the woman "why".

    Her answer, clearly a fabricated excuse, was "because the stuff they put in their hair makes the water all cloudy".

    I don't even know if I could make that up. Not sober anyway.

    private propery rights because her hair made the private pool cloudy

    a boycott would not be sufficient for something like this, it has to be legislated in government even if she is a private property owner

    this a good example that liberals are on the right side of race with their arguments.

    I have no ideal if the woman was liberal or conservative.. but I know hanging a "public pool" sign on her duplex pool is incredibly stupid..

    What do your antique salt shakers have to do with a PUBLIC POOL sign?

    Her insurance company must be just thrilled.
