Wouldn't it be nice if the oil rigs out there that are old could be used as way points for trade routes? the ships could dock at oil rigs and then transfer goods to other ships for a speedier delivery route, transferring goods in 'a detailed resorting system?' These would be old oil rigs of course, or, even new ones? this could see the delivery of goods sped up as they could transfer the goods between points and then make it much easier. Hell, i am suggesting building some of these satellites out there at sea. they wouldn't be that expensive to build or maintain, of course, and, they have a purpose too. maybe they should have sick bays and helicopter pads for medical reasons and ease of routing and stuff?
