Oh BS!! Cry me a river. There are places everywhere that help the homeless and needy. Churches, Salvation Army's, and that’s not your bag, shoplifting or dumpster diving is more your speed, there are dumpsters behind every fast food dive in the country.
　
These guys were breaking into the home a young woman with a small child. For her own protection she should have done nothing less than assume the worse for her and her child. They showed her the knife, all bets are off at that point, and the only thing she did wrong was not get both of them. Hopefully the law will do it's job and charge the other POS with felony murder, since he was involved in the crime.
　
　

　
　
Exactly! They could have had other intentions. Rape, kidnapping, murder, all of the above. The message should be a clear one. You break into somebody’s home, you place your life in jeopardy. You have nobody to blame but yourself if things don't go your way. RIP, is all that is left to say.

 

That is simply ridiculous. No one has a right to break into your home.

She did not know they were unarmed, your comment is moot and completely irrelevant. You offer such people no tactical advantage, you do not tell them were you are at, you do not tell them what you have to defend yourself, you do not fire a warning shot.

I suggest you take some basic self-defense courses before you act like an expert on the subject. If you are going to pull the trigger, you do so not to kill, not to warn, but to stop the threat. You you shoot someone and they die, that is the way the cards were dealt. If you shoot them and they fall to the ground and live, then great. You didn't kill anyone today. If a warning shot is all that is necessary, then pulling the trigger is likely not necessary.

This makes me ashamed to call myself a "liberal".

 

So you can 100 percent without a doubt tell me these guys would have would not have harmed her. As I said she did not know thier intentions neither did you are me you do know if they were there to rob, rape, murder or all three. Then to my next point we are not every ther country this is America and we have the 2nd amendment to for a reason.
