For the last 25 years I have been mentioning discrimination against men on many forums. Some examples are very minor -- like a tweet celebrating the fact that men commit suicide. Some examples are moderate. Some examples are very severe -- like UK Law Enforcement policy of arresting male victims of Domestic Violence.

Good people would oppose discrimination and hate speech against anyone. For some reason, many people disagree with the examples I give and some people attack me personally. Why?

Nobody will attack you here about that. Maybe you can bring up some specific examples in the UK?

It is worthwhile pointing out that worldwide domestic violence is significantly skewed against women. However, this doesn't mean that women can not be abusers.

Thank you! On this small forum, I have been treated very well!

But many Liberals believe that any defense of "oppressors" is wrong.

You're going to have to come up with a better argument than that to whine about.

Exhibit A: This Liberal views raising awareness about discrimination against men as whining. Definitely the policy of arresting male victims of Domestic Violence is a severe form of oppression. Any good person would support my effort to raise awareness of this issue.

This is true. It is also true that the gap between available aid and public concern for female vs male victims of domestic violence is much much bigger than the gap between gender victim numbers. And it is true that there are far more male than female victims of violence generally.

It should also be noted that just because a victim happens to be the same gender/race/whatever as numerous offenders, is no sound basis to have less empathy or concern for the victim. That's a common error of thinking that I wish I knew the name for. It happens very frequently. Does anyone have a name for this?
