    Not that this has anything to do with anything, but...it's not fair to propose at ball games, hockey games, on any type of jumbotron, or at a White House function.

    That said...hope they have a happy one.

    I feel somewhat disappointed coming to this thread.

    I was kind of thinking "oh gosh, what's Obama done now".

    Then I read the OP.

    I guess I just don't have enough fake outrage to really feel like I got my monies worth out of reading it.

    Big letdown man, big letdown.

    If you're going to make posts about lowering standards, try using an example of someone actually lowering standards.

    I am more pissed off at Scouts name change more than anything. Just Scout? Like the attention of dressing up as a boy isn't enough, you have to include a dumb name? If shes the guy and they have kids, I guess the kid has to take the Moms Surname? Does the wife now just known by her first name as well?

    I'm trying to figure it out. Scout is actually a man. Does that mean he started off as a woman? Otherwise, why would he be involved in LGBT? I mean, it's not LGBT&S is it??

    So confusing. They should wear signs.

    That cartoon may be true of some, but only because Obama has turned out to be mostly a Republican in disguise, and Obama won because people were sick of a Republican in the White House.

    Instead of what, those nasty transgendered people choosing that place as the location for the most important question they'll ever ask or receive in their lives? Yeah, that's true, we need less of that family oriented business, and more....uh....more corporate stuff. Yeah, corporate stuff!

    It's hilarious when the right, which usually more or less claims to champion family values, spurns those very same values because they don't like the source.

    Sorry if my point wasn't clear. I couldn't care less about the proposal. It's the Obama's putting the people's White House in the position of resembling a three-ring circus. People wandering around with drinks, oohing and awwing at historic portraits and priceless national treasures. Looked like a great party somebody would throw when their parents were outta town! ("Aw mom, don't worry, they won't mess up anything!")

    I still consider sodomy between two males totally repulsive!
