Op-Ed White Americans are nearly as blind to their racism as ever before

I'm open to seeing some modern day examples.

 

That Prius commercial makes sense if you think about it.

It makes the criminals look good/nice (liberals usually side with criminals over police)

It's a Prius... Liberal vagina on wheels.

Yes. The "racism" acknowledged by blacks is as you have posted about here. Its the white folks who are racist against the black folks.

Meanwhile, of the 500K plus violent crimes in this country annually that are one race on another, 85% of the time it the black as the perp and the white as the victim.

Well, here's something similar, among the PC/racist scene.

If any of you watch TV shows, particularly drama-cop shows, then I'm not the only one who has witnessed it on television. In this case I'm speaking about the popular cop show called "Chicago P.D." on NBC on Wednesday nights.

My wife and I have been watching it for the past two years, but after the 1st season, I began wondering to myself why the criminals in every episode were all white - and this is in the city of Chicago no less!

Now the show is exciting, with good actors and great scenes, but it just made me wonder. And then, after the 2nd season, the exact same thing happened - none of the criminals were black. Hollywood made sure that every episode had the criminals portrayed by whites only - in Chicago.

I guess in their PC thinking, all crime in a heavily populated black city, is performed only by the white man.



BTW, this Wednesday on NBC the Chicago PD will find that a black youth is killed, gang related. BLM of course is mentioned. Who do you think is going to be found responsible? http://www.nbc.com/chicago-pd

 

No. Unlike other races we just don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) anymore. Non-white's play the race card every chance they get.
Because let's face it, according to the left only white people are racist. Meanwhile if you look at huffington posts's website, it reeks of segregation and racism.

Many of us are oblivious to all manner of oddities we carry around in our sacks of pointless drivel. We haul them up the mountain, we haul them down the mountain. We sleep with them, we work with them. We are them because we're identified by them.

Actually plenty of people claim racism doesn't exist-there's one on this forum just a page or so back who alleges it is a "myth". Psychologists call this phenomenon 'projection'.

 

Assuming you’re assessment is correct, couldn’t that kind of “affirmative action” actually be evidence of the subconscious racism the OP article refers to? Couldn’t it come from the attitude that black people are incapable of succeeding without getting extra support and advantage from the white majority?

 

Sadly, the conversation about race has ended up with black Americans blaming whites for their own circumstance, inciting that all whites should be ashamed of being white, should be ashamed of working hard, should be ashamed of not giving more and doing more to help black Americans.

Reading what I just wrote, you would think we were living in the 1800's, but the reality is, this faux guilt trip being imposed by the real racists are insinuating I should be feeling guilty for enjoying ethnic foods, or a style of music, or clothing.

We have entered an era that the vast majority of white Americans have not felt racist feelings they are being accused of, have not held the vast majority of black Americans in the light of the color of their skin...that is until now. The race hustlers and baiters have opened my eyes and millions of others to now viewing our relationship of 'them against us'. Black lies matters was the catalyst, and it is escalated by Obama, Holder, and other prominate black Americans giving legitimacy to blacks calling for the death of police and white Americans

The author of this opinion article, Jim Grimsley had published, is nothing more than an anecdotal look at the state of racism in this country. He didn't present a case per se, but did highlight a very important thought, racism is not just for conservatives. It hasn't diminished, it has only morphed into a malaise so hideously invisible, most whites can even see it. It's an arguable fact that most conservatives are prejudice, biased, discriminatory and even hatefully racist towards blacks. However, members of the far PC left, from their lofty insulated pure white perches, preach a cacophony of self-righteous BS, just as bad as the religious right. They know what's best for blacks.

Black crime is is massively disproportional everywhere in the US. Per capita, it is at 80%. The right seems to delight in this and the far left works diligently in trying to explain this away using the old "poverty" and other environmental factors as an excuse. The rights cure for this is draconian and hateful. The far left think that money will solve this. Both are very wrong.

I don't see why this particular article is a current event, other than to say it is the sad current state of affairs in America. Yes, racism is alive here and doing well.

 

It may be hard to find a white liberal in a place like Birmingham, Ala., especially among those attending a church service, who tend to be older and more conservative than the general population. Alabama is also ranked as the most racist state in the US.
