My apologies, but the formatting has blown up and I can't fix it.

The overrunning of America by foreigners only contributes to the seizing up of American governance. Our problems now are not all Biden's fault, he is just running with it and winking at George Soros.
If you are paying attention, most of our governments efforts are aimed at advantaging one group or the other, including groups overseas.
Why? We have been divided into population segments. Every day we are more isolated from our country as it was envisioned by the FF's. We don't even speak the same language anymore, we don't consider other Americans to have common goals because we are not Americans anymore. We are tribes. How did that work out for the Indians?
The world's leaders are happily watching us kill ourselves.

My apologies, but the formatting has blown up and I can't fix it.

I would say the US has been being dismantled at least since the passage (and multiple renewals) of the USA Unpatriot Act.

Domestic enemies of the US Constitution are far more dangerous than foreign enemies of the document.

As has been truthfully said over and over, a country with open borders is not a country.

Our country has had open borders for most of its history, we were still a country.

We have never had open borders (not including the territories that had not yet become states) until recently. Maybe you're having difficulty comprehending what open borders mean.

I agree with most of what you say, but as an Australian I disagree. A country without borders is, by definition, not a country. It is a province.

Not to mention that it drains all of the people with initiative out of the countries that they have left. What about the less capable people left behind?

Nothing has changed at the border. More or less same processes but more people coming.

The difference is you have a government that is perceived not to care. So people come.

Never before have we had illegal immigrants by the tens of thousands every month cross our border unprocessed, given money and a phone and a bus or plane ticket to go pretty much wherever they choose with a promise that they will show up at their court hearing in a few years or so -- wink, wink..

I thought that they were being processed, but just released to have a later court date. But close enough to what you're saying.

You need much higher hurdles for political asylum. Even if 10% were released instead of 50% it would be a much better start.

I also think the courts should be kept out of it. Expensive, costly and slow moving. It should be a simple assessment with high hurdles. Everyone knows 99% of the asylum seekers are coming for economic asylum and not political; time to drop the farce.

It means unless you have the berlin wall surrounding your country you have open borders.

A mass immigration of illegal foreigners from around the world will tend to divide a country into segments. We are there. Look at the first year school students who can't speak our legal language, English. Look at all the signage that is printed in both English and Spanish. Call a business and the recording asks if you speak English or Spanish. You select English but can't understand what the person on the other end of the line is saying. We are no longer a melting pot, we are a borderless country open to the world's criminals -- Thanks to our government, especially Biden. The tragic result of all this is yet to come.

Those who have rejected steps that could have helped in the border crisis should not complain about the problem they refuse to fix.

There have been no proposals, by either party, to seal the border and deport the illegals already in The United States.

The bigger picture here is the progressives are completely happy with China destabilizing the USA with fentanyl, fake news, and open borders. Combine that with elevating anti-police candidates who suddenly have a fat bankroll to run with.
The police can only arrest those who make headlines because the problem is too big, the judge's don't give a damn anymore.
Leadership from DoJ and the FBI is corrupt and feckless, and SCOTUS comes to the fire when it is over.
I would not be surprised to find most of the MSM on China's payroll.
AND, there is precious little being done about it.

At last we agree on something. Our government is the nation's biggest problem. China is only in second place.

So a bilingual nation is not a nation at all in your eyes? I for one wish all of us were bilingual.

E Pluribus Unum means the country consists of many maybe diversified individuals and forms a unified country. A country is magnitudes more successful and sovereign if the culture is unified (meaning common language and customs) and the people are assimilated.

It is super for individuals to know more than one language so they can speak in the tongue of some other culture and better understand that other culture, not so that our country can have two (or more) languages -- that ain't unity nor assimilation.

We've had open borders for the vast majority of our country's existence. We don't actually have them now. This is a fake concern.

Which two would you like to speak? Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Arabic are all spoken in the USA. What about the other 300? The difference between Maine and Mississippi are bad enough.
