    Interesting. But I would think (and hope) the specific mention of religion in the First Amendment is not the only part of the Constitution that protects the expression of things like religion.

    If it sometimes seems that way, that may be because the government has gone way out of its bounds with respect to the Constitution in passing many other types of laws. The Constitution shouldn't have to specifically say people have the right to do something for people to have the right to do it.

    and therein lies the problem, the guv has been drifting in that direction for years, which is precisely how you destroy a constitution. the expression of rights, (what we can do), today has been interpreted as requiring permission, if not you cant do it. that is not how the constitution is written.....despotism.
