US police officers are the most moronic, sadistic, idiotic, trigger happy cops in the western world. They have a history of using violence against non violent citizens. You think there is something inaccurate about the painting?

 

That was the start, and it ended with the inquiry of the DOJ. That inquiry would never have happened if the racist with a badge didn't shot that guy. It's all connected.

The cops had a policy to harass poor black people violating their rights. And to claim the cops would act the same towards both races is not founded in the DOJ report. In fact, the cops only used their k9 units to bite black people.

They had a policy to trash the rights of black people. That is beneath of what is to be expected from officers, hence the derogatory painting.

The parallel is there. Since the government backs up both pieces.
That no Muslim cartoon is not part of the Congressional Art Competition, is not my problem.

Darren Wilson was cleared of all charges. Michael Brown shouldn't have robbed a convenience store and attacked a cop before going to engineering school to study rocket science. What part of the painting shows Michael Brown's angelic behavior?

Hope they do remove it for good. This kind of garbage has no place in the Capitol. Think of it like the Nuclear Option the Democrats were happy to use before, and now wish they hadn't. Don't open up the door to such blatant stereotypes under the guise of "Artistic expression", you may not like what future artists create and will have walled yourselves in when it also has to be displayed.

Actually, England and Germany do not have a 2nd amendment so cops are not paranoid they will run into a nut with a gun every 5 minutes. Second, crime occurs most in low income neighborhoods. Germany and England have national health care which helps people stay healthy and feel productive, so they lower crime and help their economies at the same time. We don't do that, so we have high crime and a paranoid, sick population. Easy to fix.

 

They have arrest quotas, not kill quotas.

It probably differs county to county, state to state, etc. The NYPD has arrest and citation quotas. Guess it doesn't pay off for them to actually decrease crime, because if they do, they are reprimanded.

Its not a free speech issue. Its a Congressional run art contest and they get to make the rules of the of the contest and the rules of what type of art will be displayed in the capital building. Michael Medved on his show read the rule of the contest which states that the art entered must comply with those rules of the capital building and this piece of "art" does because of its blantant political flaming.

The Congressman who insist on displaying it is in violation of the rules of the contest and the building.

It's a shame schools do not properly teach the 1st Amendment anymore.
