I visit Philadelphia about once a month or so and considered watching The Iceman at the Ritz on Thursday night but opted for Pandora's Paradise on Friday. What a waste of money. A bunch of environmental activists spent 90 minutes apologizing for being ignorant of algebra. Evidently, they finally went to school or listened to a scientist or engineer explain the concept of a material balance and the limitations of solar and wind power sunk in. The premise of the documentary is a reconsideration of nuclear power to transition away from fossil fuels. Nothing useful here- 3 out of 10 is my score. I only give it three stars because perhaps the tone and marketing (i.e. have people evidently respected in the environmental circle admit their complete ignorance of reality) might be effective with regard to people changing their stance.
