You're so adorable! What a nice little story.
See, this is why the bible says so many are not ready for "strong meat" but need to continue to feed on "milk" like babes.

If you had ever actually "gone to God" by emptying yourself of yourself as the bible instructs but you can't find, you would have received such inspiration yourself. And with that experience you would know EXACTLY what the bible means by "inspiration" and how it works. But alas, you prefer the ideas of man over the inspiration of God. Hence you really have no business calling yourself a "believer". You're a "rejector".

Are you saying that nature is mistaken? Belief in God isn't a belief in the supernatural or fable. It is a belief in the humanity of a perfect being. There is something in the words of Jesus Christ that speaks to the spirit, heart, and conscience of man. It is a handshake with a hint of divinity, enough to draw his own to him. But not so much as to overpower our free agency or spoil the purpose of God. Whataboutisms according to the generations of the earth are for God to manage. But our lives and choices are exquisitely our own. Such is Jesus Christs gospel to us. It is the outreach of promise. We can worship ourselves, follow the almighty dollar, and claim the whole our mortal lives as our inheritance. Or we can in cognizance of our sins, accept the eternal sacrifice of God and secure an inheritance in eternal life.

There is no perfection. God is a myth. A fable. Supernatural nonsense.

Yes. It is called "mysticism", "esoteric insight", or "spiritual" by those who have seen and Know.

But we must distinguish our recognition of the mystical from the indoctrination we received from our parents.

-if we can see past our indoctrination.

-which means belief, which means faith, which means myth, which lacks evidence.

-in theory, if we're willing to take myth as fact and belief as reality.

Listen, I've been there, and more deeply that you are capable of imagining. So I have actual experience to compare to your beliefs.

Nope. That merely says that humans and chimps evolved from a common ancestor, which is why we share 95% of our DNA including the same dysfunctional broken gene for Vitamin C synthesis. Which is why we need to have Vitamin C in our diets, unlike other animals which don't, since they have a functional gene for their bodies to naturally produce Vitamin C. Which is why we can breed with chimps, in the same way that Ligers evolve from lions and tigers and hinnies evolve from horses and donkeys, and triticale evolved from wheat and rye.

Shroud of Turin embodied a supernatural being and the mos t recent scientific analysis provides a preponderance of evidence that the body wrapped in it was more than likely Jesus Christ, God Incarnate.

What scientific evidence do you have to support your claim, given that scientific tests date it at 1260-1390?

But either way, John 19:34 says that he survived his crucifixion since his heart was still functioning, and he was resuscitated by Joseph and Nicodemus with the help of herbal medications (John 19:39-40) and then went fishing with his mates after recuperating (John 21).

What? Who told you that? That's not in the Bible! We was dead no beating heart.so they prepared His body for burial, as was the Jewish custom... . HE WAS dead... but he isn't anymore! He Arose! I do wish you people would study the Word in it's entirety and I do wish you come with sincere hearts and with sincere questions.

I am opposed to crucifix as a representation of Christ.. He is no longer on the cross, He is alive, not hanging on a stick.

John 19:34 says that blood flowed out under pressure, and that his heart was therefore still functioning when a Roman soldier pricked him with a spear to test his reflexes after only 6 hours or so, and not 2-5 days as normally required to complete a crucifixion. And John 19:39-40 says that after removing him, Nicodemus and Joseph then resuscitated him with the help of 30 kg of herbal medications including Aloe vera. And John 21 describes how he went fishing with his mates after recuperating. Or don't you believe what the bible actually says and means?

Where does he live and have you ever been fishing with him?[/QUOTE]

There's nothing to handle. You have a repetition of God playing games in two videos. And the guy says god died. I thought it was three "persons".

    What a crock of confusion.

requires study. So you folks push evolution. That defies the second law of thermodynamics. Life arising spontaneously defies the second law of thermodynamics, it also defies statistical probability. We were created, perhaps, God used, apes as a template to create us. Why
start from scratch? Add a large brain, opposable thumbs, for tool use. But most importantly, God made us in his image. His simple minded thinking that God looks like Man. What in his image means is he gave us a soul and we have any eternal spirit. Think about that. Where do you want your eternal spirit to dwell? We have complex thoughts. We can think in past, present, and try to think in the future. In God’s image means we can imagine, we can create. And we are eternal.

The Bible says God created the universe in six days. That is true. Everything in the Bible is true. You work backwards from that fact to understand what is written. Let me give you an example. I want to build a beautiful house. I can imagine it in my mind. I can create it on paper. But it may take months or years to implement my creation. Atheism is the most irrational beliefs a person can have. Agnosticism , although incorrect, at least makes a little sense. The thought was, we Mitt created this thread, that he might have some sincere questions on Christianity. All you people want is to attack something you claim doesn’t exist. I find that illogical. After studying psychology, philosophy and other religions, I decided some 30 years ago to study, sincerely, goofy old Christianity. It has been a most incredible intellectual journey.
It will continue the rest of my life.

So when was the universe created, given that it is billions of years old since there are ~two trillion visible galaxies and the speed of light is ~300,000 kilometres per second?

Biological evolution is the reason why there are six distinct bio-geographical zones with their own unique ranges of flora and fauna. Which is why kangaroos and sloths and echidnas are not native to the middle east.

I've studied it more deeply that you could know.

    I trust science cuz "facts".

That defies the first law of adulthood.

I thought about it far more deeply than you could know. You made a major error in that statement.... You said he gave "US" a soul and WE HAVE (an) eternal spirit. Do you think that is what "God" is? He HAS a soul and a spirit?

And then, after saying WE HAVE a soul and WE HAVE an "eternal spirit" (without explaining who/what this "we" is) you say this "we" is "eternal"! So that which HAS a soul and a spirit ("we") is eternal? What do you say HAS a soul and a spirit but flesh? What else could this "we" be? And flesh is eternal??

Try this: You are not your body. God has no body. His "image and likeness" is one of infinite spirit, incorporeal and eternal. The discovery of this is the goal of all religion and it is kept secret for those who can find it. If God has no body, then when he "created man in his image and likeness" it means he created man to be as he is.

I have more questions for you but you are not yet ready.

If you trust that childish nonsense over the facts of science that says the earth (let alone the universe) was formed and capable of supporting rudimentary life over hundreds of millions of years, then conversation is both hopeless and pointless.

Thanks so much brother Todd for your videos. I especially liked the video "This Astonishing Scientific Evidence Proves the Bible!"...yes siree it certainly does!

I haven't looked at the other video yet, but I will in a wee bit.

I liked what Chuck presented when he brought up the genealogy in Genesis Chapter 5. He used the first ten names, Adam, Seth, Enosh, Kenan, Mahalalel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah. Each of the names have an English translation and so each of these ten names their actual meaning put together forms a sentence that says:

"Man is appointed mortal sorrow but the blessed God shall come down teaching that his death shall bring the despairing comfort or rest."...whoa now that's just awesome...praise the Lord Almighty God!!

I also like when Sid asked Chuck the question: "What is the best thing you would say to an agnostic an honest agnostic or a dishonest atheist? I say dishonest atheist because you say you know that there is no God. Now come on, be a little more intelligent than say, I know there is no God all you can do is say I'm not sure. That's agnostic that's what you really are. So, talk to the honest agnostic."

I also liked what Chuck said regarding evolution: "Darwin or evolution is the greatest myth of our society it imbues our psychology, our culture, not just biology. And today the good news is scientists are finally beginning to admit that Darwinism or evolution as we taught, that's a very imprecise term, what we mean is biogenesis that life began as an accident, defies all scientific evidence."...you are so spot on right Chuck!!

Ok thanks brother Todd for your post/videos, I handled it quite well because I agreed with everything Sid's guest Chuck had to say!

Nope it's Christianity and It doesn't matter that the Apostle Paul never met Lord Jesus, it's irrelevant.

What's important to know is that our Creator Almighty God spoke authoritatively through the human authors of Scripture, so that the words of Scripture originated with God and were communicated to humankind in order to produce the resultant Word of God which is the Holy Bible.

Those who theorized about a separate Christianity by referring to it as the Pauline Christianity that's different and not part of Lord Jesus' Christianity are essentially spewing/believing falsehoods.

Truth is, the Apostle Paul's Epistles complements the Gospels that present the life and work of Lord Jesus the Messiah. The Epistles explain the meaning and scope of Lord Jesus' work and apply it to our daily living.

A good example of this is reading Lord Jesus' resurrection in the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 28, "The Resurrection" and after reading it, and then reading Paul's Epistle in 1 Corinthians Chapter 15, "The Resurrection of Christ" one will begin to understand the significance of Lord Jesus' resurrection that was written in the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 28.

We also learn that the Apostle Peter was a beloved friend of the Apostle Paul. And notice what Apostle Peter writes in saying that there were those who twisted the Apostle Paul's letters to mean something quite different...obviously we get a glimpse here of early theorists spewing falsehoods of the Apostle Paul's writings.

    We Read in Scripture:

15 And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved. This is what our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom God gave him— 16 speaking of these things in all of his letters. Some of his comments are hard to understand, and those who are ignorant and unstable have twisted his letters to mean something quite different, just as they do with other parts of Scripture. And this will result in their destruction. 2 Peter 3:15-16 NLT

So, the New Testament is a unified whole in that the same Holy Spirit who inspired the Gospels also inspired the Epistles to give all of us a fuller understanding of our Creator Almighty God's plan of salvation.

You have obviously misinterpreted Scripture. A little advice here when quoting Scripture, you shouldn't paraphrase, but get exact quotes and list the Bible where the quote comes from like how I do.

But anyway, let me first present what's written in Matthew 5:17-19

    We Read in Scripture:

Christ Came to Fulfill the Law

17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:17-19 ESV

We learn from reading Scripture that Lord Jesus did fulfill the Law and the Prophets but did not abolish it and so what does it mean.

To answer what does it mean let me present a video from my favorite Christian Ministry, they will answer the question, "What does it mean that Jesus fulfilled the law but did not abolish it?"

So, after viewing this video I hope you now understand Mitty that Christians are not under the Mosaic Law but under "the law of Christ" the Old Covenant is no longer in effect a New Covenant was established making the old ways obsolete. And this is Christianity, and not what you called it, "Paulianity".

    We Read in Scripture:

2 Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 NLT

Ok thanks Mitty for your post.

The gospels, however, don't say anything about that, and say that Jesus wasn't medically dead (John 19:34) when Joseph and Nicodemus removed him after his crucifixion as the "King of the Jews", which only lasted six hours or so and not two to five days as normal. And that after being resuscitated with the help of 30 kg of herbal medications including Aloe vera (John 19:39-40) he was able to visit his mates and go fishing with them when he had recuperated (John 20-21).

Jesus, however, said that every jot and tittle of OT law still applies till heaven and earth pass when all is fulfilled (Matthew 5:17-19) including the commandments to abort the pregnancies of adulteresses (Leviticus 20:10, Numbers 5:20-28.), even though Paul didn't agree, and why Paul abolished Mosaic law in the religion he established.

Do you have any evidence that dinosaurs still exist and didn't become extinct over 65 million years ago, and that they existed when the book of Job was written less than 3300 years ago? Or does the story in Job 40:45-24 just describe a bull elephant in musth?

Your bible has "serpents" talking to humans, and has "sea monsters" and "dragons" coexisting with humans. Therefore we know it's a contrived myth since humans came over 64 million years after the last dinosaurs died out with the exception of a few that became crocodiles and birds.

CONCLUSION: the bible doesn't mention anything resembling dinosaurs.

And the genealogy in Genesis 5 includes the genealogy in Genesis 4 with small changes in spelling and order. Thus Cain=Cainan, Enoch =Enoch, Irad=Jared, Mehujael=Muhalalel, Methushael=Methuselah, Lamech=Lamech. Therefore the "adam" (first man) in the Gen 4 genealogy was the grandson of the Gen 5 "adam". And our aborigines arrived here over 50,000 years before adam's grandmother was a girl.

And since the "years" in the Genesis 5 genealogy are obviously easily observed lunar cycles of ~29 days and not solar cycles of 365 days, then Adam first became pregnant at aged ~11 years old and not a ridiculous 130 years old (Gen 5:1-3), and Methusael was drowned at aged ~80 years old and not an absurd 969 years old (Gen 5:27), and Noah's sister Naamah gave birth to triplets at aged ~40 years old and not a preposterous 500 years (Genesis 5:32).

That's just your biased flawed opinion. You are not providing a shred of evidence, let me illustrate how one provides some type of evidence that involved people doing investigative work as it pertains to the Great Flood of Noah.

Truth be told, the reality is there is still an on going debate concerning the Great Flood of Noah, there is nothing conclusive and so I wouldn't make bold statements without conclusive evidence that the Great Flood of Noah really happened or really didn't happen, the jury is still out on this one.

However because I personally believe in our Creator Almighty God, I believe what He revealed to us regarding the Great Flood of Noah as written in the Book of Genesis.

I would tend to agree with that, however there were 8 people on board the ark and certainly 8 people doing their part could keep up with the feeding of the animals.

    We Read in Scripture:

13 That very day Noah had gone into the boat with his wife and his sons—Shem, Ham, and Japheth—and their wives. Genesis 7:13 NLT

Ok thanks Kode for your post.
