There are TWO videos inside that spoiler tag, not just one. The first video there is a very short clip (52 seconds), which shows just the shooting and the immediate events surrounding it. The second video is much longer (20:18 ) and shows "footage of the officer from beginning to end, like before the suspect on the ground to the moment the shot was fired". It is literally exactly what you asked for.

 

Yup! they are, if they feel as if they're in danger of losing their life, because the perpetrator is fighting them and trying to get control of the cops service weapon to possibly use against them. If the criminal isn't going to follow orders, ya gotta put um down. Many a cop has been murdered in this exact situation.

No, that is a lie, he died because he attempted to flee the scene then he violently resisted arrested for over 90 seconds and attempted to take control of the arresting officers weapon. What good does it serve the country for a news agency to BLATANT misrepresent as they do in that statement?

Leaving out ENTIRELY that he was avoiding arrest and then violently resisted arrest for over 90 seconds and then tried to take control of the officers weapon. What good does it serve the country for a news agency to BLATANT misrepresent as they do in that statement? Do they note the police officer could have been dead and any children would have grown up without their law abiding father had the criminal gained control of the weapon?

Obey lawful police commands and you won't get shot! But, fight the police, try to escape lawful arrest, and act like a threatening, dangerous menace to society, and you probably WILL get shot. If your family doesn't claim your body, the authorities will 'process' you and then dump you in some hole or slot, with your name and an Incident Report Number stamped on a metal plate... and that's it... that's all. Fighting a cop and grabbing his taser are extenuating circumstances.

• Suspect stopped for improper registration. Suspect runs. One officer alone with vehicle and remaining passenger. Call for assistance then search and detain the passenger. No chase, no shoot , little danger.
I believe the point blank shot to the head will find the city paying out a judgment. Remember the officer who fired her pistola by mistake was still found liable.
More bad stuff happens due to poor training and poor judgment.
