1. The fact that he still runs for his house seat shows that he doesn't believe they can win. 2. What a jerk he is to do that! I don't like Mittens, I think he is fake, but it looks like Lying Ryan is much worse. Can you imagine nominating a guy to become your running mate and he shows how much he trust in your campaign by running for his old seat! If you think campaign is doomed - don't accept nomination (like many other prominent republicans probably did), but to do this just shows what kind of person Lying Ryan is....
