    Greenland is none of the US’s business. Perhaps the POTUS could find a good Republican way to reduce the debt .

    But, what if you had to pick some geo candidate on land.
    It can't reach :flagcanada:, but Manhattan is possible.

    I actually knew an extremely well used girl named Roxanne, the song became a popular joke in band circles and we used to play it when she showed up to Gigs...on reflection, we were pretty cruel.

    Finally brought a toy i've been talking myself into for a year. A Co2 semi auto BB pistol. 15 mean ass BBs, fast as you can squeeze em off, mostly all metal. Repro of the Walther PPK. All the buttons and such, just like the real on.

    Load the mag, put a Co2 in, rack the slide and good to go. Slide locks back when empty. Slide and frame are metal. Even has blowback, slides moves like the real deal. Only 300fps but who cares? It's semi auto. Smallest Co2 i have ever seen. Now, for that fullauto, cans never stood a chance :) IMG_20190904_210426.jpg

    Just a plinking toy. I ride a bicycle often. Tempted to carry it for vicious dogs at large. It is not very powerful but would sting pretty damn good.
    Just a backyard toy. Same size and weight as the real one.

    Give you an idea of the 'power' from 10 ft, 2 beer cans of water, went thru one and into the other but did not exit. For comparison, @ 100ft my .22 pellet rifle can penetrate 5. Easily take smaller game. Even a deer if range is 100ft or less and placement is perfect. But that would be unethical.

    I have 2 .44s for that. Here is one. A repro of the 1858 new model army. A black powder revolver, of the type used in the old west and civil war.
    I rarely get time to go in the wilderness to fire it, hence the backyard toy. Get my trigger finger to stop itching :) IMG_20190905_013718.jpg

    They are fun and once you get into it, they suck you into history. It takes about ten minutes to load, first you pour powder in the front of each cylinder, then seat a lead ball and use that lever under the barrel to push it home (takes some force and shaves off a thin, ring of lead. So as to seal off neighboring chambers from 'chain fire', happened to me once, two rounds went off, i was shaken but not stirred, or injured)

    Some put grease over each ball, to prevent this, others place a felt wad between ball and powder. I use a wad of TP.

    Last but not least, a #11 percussion cap goes on a nipple at the rear of each chamber. It ignites the BP main charge.

    Big cloud of dense, white smoke for each shot.
    Might take awhile to load but you have six rounds of big bore, single action, when ready to go.

    I even have a mold to cast my own, lead ball.

    I took a sow hog at about a 100 ft with it, about 5 years ago. Yes, we ate it.

    I shoot it on the 4th and new years with just a toilet paper wad, over the powder. No projectiles, what goes up...

    the only 'real guns' I own.

    Colt's version of the same, both are around 20 years old but fully functioning, repros of the original, predating the war between the states. IMG_20190905_021925.jpg

    Pay attention to any old Western, 90% of the revolvers they use are either of these guns.

    Yes,Our Debt is not being addressed.Then again take for example
    Obama's first term.Where his predecessor Bush 43 had a 2007 budget
    deficit of $ 162 Billion,Obama Averaged OVER $ 1.2 *Trillion in his first
    4 years.Harry Reid,Likewise belligerently refused to vote on a budget
    let alone Debate a budget.We ran all those years on CR's.
    Obama's Presidential Budgets were a farce.2 years in fact { 2012,2013 }
    not a single senator voted for Obama's Presidential Budget.
    Greenland may be a good buying opportunity.Before China beats us to
    it.It's Liveable enough,given our modern technologies.
    It ain't like we're back in the Dust Bowl decade.

    * That's annually.

    Way too involved.Like taking half an hour to make a peanut butter & jelly
    sandwich.Or all morning to change the sheets on a bed.
    Time is still money.
    Thomas Carlyle may have had a point in the 1800's :
    " The three great elements of modern civilization,Gunpowder,
    Printing,and the Protestant Religion. "
    are summarily being under constant attack.
    Time can also be Cruel.

    Obama added to it.? He only Doubled it.
    Be For Real.Bush took the National Debt from $ 5 Trillion to
    $ 10 Trillion.
    Obama from $ 10 Trillion to $ 20 Trillion.
    Unless one suffers double vision { as in being Drunk off their gourd }
    it's self-explanatory.
    Which also explains why Obama was NEVER taken to task by this
    Demon Mainstream Media for his Record setting Monumental
    Budget Deficits.

    I’ve heard there’s a school of thought that debt doesn’t matter. You can just ignore it forever.
