Political March Madness - BS Bracketology

It's that time of year when everyone is checking their brackets to see if they still have a chance at winning the office pool. Usually this process involves college basketball teams, but what if there were a competition involving ideas or claims or just plain BS? Maybe BS involving a certain political party?

Here's how things might look when the tournament is down to the ELITE-EIGHT UNTRUTHS:

    BUZZ WORD DIVISION:
    “Death Tax” vs. “Death Panels”

    IRAQ WAR DIVISION:
“Weapons of mass destruction” vs. “Welcomed with open arms”

    TAXES DIVISION:
“Rich pay all the taxes” vs. “Revenues always increase when taxes are cut”

    FRAUDCASTING DIVISION:
“Fair & Balanced” vs. “Excellence In Broadcasting”

Winners will advance to the FINAL FOUR FABRICATIONS and, eventually a champion will emerge. My prediction is that the ultimate winner will be “Revenues always increase when taxes are cut.”

The victory will be so inspiring that afterwards politicians will vote to cut all taxes to zero in the expectation that the highest possible revenues will be raised and all budget problems will be solved.

When zero money comes in, a certain political party will have to come up with some new BS. Watch for it at next year's tournament.

Discuss. Any predictions for next year?

This may be bias, but I can't think of any clear-cut examples of BS from the Democrats. This is a Republican thing, yes?

Still waiting for examples of Democratic BS ideas. That speaks volumes.

The part where they don't mention the impossibility of fixing the country with a simple election.

Thanks. I welcome additions to either list, Republican or Democrat.
