Politico/Morning Consult is a leftist rag poll in your mind?

26% think the wall is the best solution.

Yea...please tout that poll again and again. Looks real good on you.

Meanwhile the only reason that Trump isn't backing down is because he sees the wall as a permanent monument to himself.

I noticed that 41% of those who were polled in the Politico-Morning Consult poll are low information voters.

It probably never will. There are far more dems then republicans. Independents count of course. The further left the democrat party goes the more you have to depend on candidates that like Bernie's appeal to millennials and some radicals, maybe such as yourself. If I were a democrat I wouldn't get my expectations up. The polls might make you feel good but when they are mostly from biased sources I have a hard time trusting anything besides Trumps approval ratings.

I couldn't find a link to the methodology behind this poll. In another thread, you admitted that not everyone is affected by illegal immigration. Why should we put weight on a claim derived from polling those who live far from the problems associated with illegal immigration?

26% of support for anything Trump supports is looking better and better by the day...

What do you mean by methodology? I provided two links to the raw data in the OP, directly below the picture of the specific question referenced by the title.

If you were solely focused on the polling of those who live in areas directly associated with illegal immigration, then I would suggest looking to the congressional representatives whose districts include the southern border. There are eight. Of those eight, all explicitly ran - successfully - on political campaigns which opposed the wall.

But to your specific question of why we should care, it is because the decision to shut down the government over the wall affects the entire country. Also, the fact that the President is supposed to represent the wants and needs of the entire country. And the fact that the congressional and senatorial representatives upon whom trump is relying to enact his policies, they also come from and represent individuals from all over the country.

As such, the wants and needs of the entire country should be important to you or anyone else who is concerned with this issue.

    Politico yes.

Amazing all these polling places still find 33-35% "independents" but when its time to vote....

I notice that your best talking point is pathetic and merits zero attention.

Amazing that you think voting a specific way in an election somehow negates a person's self-assigned label of independent.

I don't think its very different. People deep down want a wall or at least MUCH better security and far less illegals, but don't want to admit it in public for fear of backlash.

Coincidentally, 7% is about how much of the popular vote MAGA would have gotten in 2016 had he not been running under the Republican banner.

More likely most people aren't in any way affected by illegals, and most already understand that most illegals didn't sneak across the border in the first place.

Ah, the old "these people may have said one thing, but I know that they really meant to say the opposite" talking point.

Yea, that one is **** too.

Wrong! Most trump supporters dont participate in polls because they know the looney left will mark them for death...the wall is happening and you cant do anything about it..nobody can

"but you do you." What does that mean oh brilliant one? I have two lawyers in the family, councilor.. I've watched their methods, and it has nothing to do with being smart. Logic Teacher??!! Then you should be ashamed at your inability to display any logic! I can say there has not been any post you've made that demonstrated logic.. might be from a dearth of facts.

That claim calls for the operation of the mind. That only reveals willingness to blindly believe and follow without question. Religion would not exist if it weren't for willingness to blindly follow.

Thank you for including those links. I looked, but could not find where those who participated in the poll lived. Why was that relevant in the other thread but not this one?

but 59% believe that it is either the best solution (26%) or one of many solutions (33%)…..snip~

Now here was the best part.

The effort by Democrats to delegitimize the border wall as a vanity project or a futile idea has only worked within their own ranks.....snip~

Glad you were still able to figure out that 59% despite the break down for best solution or one of many.

Hows that feel to know what your Demos have tried, only works in their ranks? Let me know if you need the coloring books or the sudden urge to scream at the sky.

    Oh? Ok.:bored:

    "the wall is happening"?:roflol:

At this point, Trumpies are the willing to call any random 3-foot structure (20 feet long and built out of popsicle sticks in an abandoned stretch of desert) "the wall".

So, under the scenario described above, "the wall" could happen.
