    You do know that the Scots voted against independence, right?
    The were offered the chance to go it alone and they said no.

    Four point three trillion USA petro- dollars to 117 trillion dollars (factoring Derivatives into the formula)... can catch the attention of lots of people all across the political and religious spectrum...... and encourage them to listen to an idea that might at first offend them.

    I know. Just using them as an example of a population which had a controversial independence movement. Catalonia is still in Spain also.

    Depending on the outcome of Brexit there might be another push by the Scots.
