And I can not take this "author" serious, especially since there is no connection between Mary Magdalene and any Prostitute in the Bible!

Go ahead, look it up for yourself. Mary was never connected between the two, no more then Mother Mary and Mary of Bethany and prostitution. That connection is a false one, made in the 4th Century. It is not backed by any of the contemporary gospels written prior to that, either cannonical (Matthew, Mark, Luke, James, etc), nor in the non-cannonical ones like the Gospel of Thomas, or even the Gospel of Judas.

So sorry, the moment somebody claims that they were "impressed by the meeting" which is between a totally different person even in the gospel, that tells me they do not understand the Bible as well as they think.

I also find it interesting that this person linked their own book to Thomas, often called "The Twin". His own Gospel only mentions Mary 2 times, and in no way connected to the Prostitute (who was unnamed).

Myself, of that gospel I prefer the Lanbdin translation from the Nag Hammadi scroll. I first got mine about 18 years ago, and still refer to it on occasion.

But recreation of the Temple? Founding of a new Priest class? Resumption of corporeal sacrifice? Naw, I do not see those events ever happening, ever.

Well........... in my opinion about ninety percent of the population of the earth are in extreme danger from so many different possible threats that I find some solace in the possibility of the initiation of an outpouring of the Ruach ha Kodesh - Holy Spirit?!

Personally I love the idea put forward by a pastor in Uganda that when we Christians support and respect the Jewish people more as they play their role in bringing back Messiah, the Holy Spirit will be poured out unlike ever before in history!

RE: SHARING NEW DISCOVERIES OF THE TRUTH IN BIBLE PROPHECY CONCERNING THE IMMINENT HEALING AND UNITY OF THE CHURCH

I am mesmerized by the truth in bible prophecy that the Spirit of God has been revealing over the recent years. Secret things belong to God and those that are revealed belong to us and our children... (Deut 29: 29).

1. King Cyrus the great ruled his country 555 years Before Christ i.e. from 576 BC to 530 BC and authorised the rebuilding of the second temple in Jerusalem. Cyrus of the Old Testament is hence associated with the number 555 and is the shadow figure of incoming Cyrus II of the New Testament. You may learn more about his history from the internet and scriptures. This new truth enables us to identify the leadership of the world that will rebuild the temple in Jerusalem as prophesied in book of Isaiah before the rise of antichrist. Cyrus II is coming to revive the evangelical/Pentecostal church in Jerusalem and restore the headquarters of the church in same city where the church was born. He is set to strip Babylon of the vessels of the temple and the name of the Lord God and transfer that crown back to Jerusalem thus leaving Babylon naked. Cyrus will rebuild the temple in Jerusalem in fulfilment of the prophecy of Jesus as written in the book of John 2:18-23 and the prophecy of Isaiah as written in chapters 40, 41, 45 and 47 of the book of Isaiah. Jesus regarded the temple as the symbol of his own body while saying that he had the power to lay it down on the first day (1st millennium) and rebuild or raise it up on the 3rd day (3rd millennium). Remember that one day in the eyes of God is the same as one thousand years (millennium) as stated in book of 2 Peter 3:8. Rebuilding of the temple is thus associated with unification of the church.

Cyrus II will rebuild the temple in honour of our lord Jesus Christ. The temple will be the unifying (rallying) point of the world wide evangelical church as the original headquarters of the church. Psalms133 denotes that there is such a powerful anointing that comes along with unity among brethren. Unification of the whole body of Jesus Christ will make the church so powerful that she will overrun the world within a short time before the return of our lord Jesus Christ. A divided church is a powerless church whereas a united church is a powerful church. The church can only be able to fulfil her ultimate mission of revealing Jesus to the world once we get united as one body of Jesus Christ following his last prayer for his disciples as written in John 17:20-23.

Cyrus II will erase that false image of Jesus that the counterfeit and Idolatrous state church of Babylon has been projecting around the world and revive the original church that projects the true brilliant image of Jesus Christ. Haggai 2:9 says that the glory of the latter church (temple) will be greater than the glory of the former church (temple).The rise of Cyrus will also usher in the ultimate fulfilment of the prophecy of Joel 2:28 where God intends to pour out His Spirit on all flesh in these last days. The era of Cyrus brings the gentile period of grace to its close and leads to the restoration of the Jewish period of grace and salvation.

2. King Manasseh was the shadow figure (forerunner) of the antichrist in the Old Testament who ruled over Jerusalem exactly 666 years Before Christ i.e. from 697 BC to 642 BC. (2 chronicle 33: 1-2 and 2 kings 21: 1-17). Antichrist is associated with the number 666 as written in the book of Revelation 13:18. Manasseh was the most evil king to have ever ruled over the city of Jerusalem and kingdom of Judah.

Manasseh is reported to have killed so many innocent people in Jerusalem that the streets of Jerusalem were flowing with blood; he worshiped pagan idols and stars; he built pagan alters for idols and stars in the very courtyards of the temple; he sacrificed his sons to idols; he consulted diviners and mediums; he even set up an abominable pagan image at the temple that causes desolation just as the incoming antichrist will do. It was on that basis that God decided to have that first temple destroyed completely since Manasseh had desecrated it.

3. Prophet Jonah was the shadow figure (forerunner) of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament who undertook his prophetic ministry around 777 B.C. Prophet Jonah is hence associated with the number 777. He arose from the shadow and demise of Prophet Elisha. His preaching radiated such great power and authority that turned the city of Nineveh as the rising super power of that time up side down within 3 days only (read the book of Jonah). Jonah was the prophetic force behind the restoration of the lost territories of Israel in the reign of King Jeroboam II of Israel between 782 BC and 741 BC as written in II Kings 14:25. Jonah related with God more or less as his own father and God loved him more or less as His own son. He volunteered to die save occupants of the ship and was raised to life after three days just like Jesus Christ. Jesus compared himself with Jonah as his forerunner in the Old Testament as far as his earthly ministry, death and resurrection was concerned in Mathew 12; 38-41, Luke 11; 29-32. Jesus will also oversee the restoration of the lost territories of Israel just like prophet Jonah when he comes to rule as the king of kings and Lord of Lords. We can therefore correctly associate Jesus Christ with the number 777 just like Jonah as our commander-in-chief, Lord of the Sabbath and fountain of life.

Being a bit of a 'papist' myself, I'd say let the Sanhedrin put the Pope on trial for his recognition of the 'State' of Palestine and see how things shake out. The Pope ain't some Hollywood actor that can be made to apologize for criticizing the Jewish lock on movie production in that city.

I have read the Arabic and English versions of “God’s Peace Plan for the Holy Land”. It is an excellent religious solution for Israel/Palestine conflict prepared on the basis of dictations of the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam). My immense thanks to Robert Mendelson is not much enough; he will be thanked by God for his good intention to humanity in formulating this peace plan. I think this is an acceptable solution to all the religious authorities who believe in God. But peoples of Israel/Palestine are not fully aware of their God. Israel is now a secular state. Most of the Palestinians are also secular. They may not accept this religious solution. Because secular politics now moves round the Machiavellism and religious or ethical politics is seldom practiced today. This peace plan necessitates a strong scientific and secular basis to make it acceptable by the secular peoples. I think following links will be helpful to make this peace plan scientific and acceptable to all the conflicting parties in the holy land:

Prophet Jacob (Israel) was a man from Canaan, a historical area of Palestine. The children of Israel were migrated to the land of Egypt and returned to Palestine after about 400 years by Prophet Moses (pbuh). 2000 years ago Jews were again migrated by the Romans and again returned to their land by a British mandate in 1922. Therefore, all the children of Israel were Palestinians and Israel/Palestine is actually a single state and single nation. Palestinians and Jews have equal rights to their land. Nobody is outsider here. The Holy Qur’an confirms a special favour for the children of Israel -

“Children of Israel! Call to mind the special favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other nations.” – (Al-Qur'an, 2:47).

I have so much respect for the Jewish people. They need a state, but this state should not be created in a discredited manner. A massive military action by the Muslims against the Jewish people that had been foretold in the Islamic literature (Ibne Majah and Sahih Muslim), it is actually the battle of Imam Mahdi and the battle of Armageddon against the antichrist. If we wait for such a battle between the Muslim world and Israel supported by the western world, it will be a nuclear war, the 3rd world war that might destroy all the nations as it was stated by Albert Einstein –

The Messiah – a savior of mankind like Imam Mahdi or Jesus Christ can not put on display such a world war that might destroy all the nations. Rather, Messiah will save mankind from such nuclear holocaust eliminating nuclear weapons from the world, if this great man really comes to the world in the near future.

The battle of Armageddon against antichrist is not a universally accepted idea in the Jewish and Christian literature. In Islamic Eschatology much controversy exists regarding the advent of Imam Mahdi and Jesus Christ. The coming of the Mahdi and that of Jesus from the heavens are regarded as signs of the Day of Judgment. I have not mentioned them. The reason is that the narratives of the coming of the Mahdi do not conform to the standards of Hadith criticism set forth by the Muhaddithun. Some of them are weak and some fabricated; no doubt, some narratives, which are acceptable with regard to their chain of narration, inform us of the coming of a generous caliph (Muslim, No: 731; however, if they are deeply deliberated upon, it becomes evident that the caliph they refer to is Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz who was the last caliph from a Sunni standpoint. This prediction of the Prophet has thus materialized in his personality, word for word. One need not wait for any other Mahdi now.

The prophecy of coming a Mahdi, however, does not excuse the Muslim nations from their duty to strive in the cause of justice, peace and betterment of mankind. Centuries have passes from the time of the holy Prophet and there is a good possibility that many more will expire before the advent of Imam Mahdi. Muslims who are negligent in their duty hoping for a savior are committing a grave mistake and are not following the divine decrees ordained in the Qur’an or taught by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Today we are facing many challenges against humanity’s existence in the world. AIDS becomes epidemic in many parts of the world, nuclear disasters, nuclear weapons, greenhouse effect and ozone depletion all are constant threats to life on the earth. We should address those challenges seeking the most innovative approaches. A global leader like Imam Mahdi or Jesus Christ if likely to appear in the world, instead of destroying the whole world, they will execute a universal peace plan all over the world that might save mankind from the punishment of hell fire, eradicate nuclear weapons and poverty from the world, prevent greenhouse effect and ozone depletion for prolongation of comfortable life on the earth. To achieve this goal, I have a dream like many others, which I have formulated by comparative study of religion and secular science.

Unfortunately, these recent actions by his honor are part of a a long history of activity and positions on behalf of the Roman Catholic Church, which apparently has never abandoned its mission to persecute the People of Israel for its refusal to recognize your savior as the Messiah of Israel and to surrender to its religious doctrine.

By the grace of the Almighty that promised to return the nation of Israel to its Land and gather our exiles, the Jewish nation has merited its resurgence and has established itself on its Land through the establishment of the State of Israel and the gathering of our people from exile. Therefore, all of the territory of the entirety of the Land of Israel, from the Euphrates to the Nile is hers by right.

The recent statements and activities of the Vatican are a slap in the face of the Jewish nation, and the Bible, through which you reaffirm your interpretations of the prophesies that G-d has abandoned and forsaken the original people of Israel.

Reality proves the opposite.

We demand from you, an apology for the Vatican's encouragement of the occupying entity of the Land of Israel, known as the Palestinian Authority, and by referring to it as a state. Further, we demand that you immediately instruct the Vatican that the sole claimant of divine right to the Land of Israel is the nation of Israel. This will certainly contribute much more to genuine peace than encouraging your angel of peace, who till now, has only contributed hostility and war.

We were surprised at how you could bestow such such honor on a man who is a Holocaust denier, who refuses to allow even one Jew to live in his future state, let alone become a citizen of such, while at same time that the State of Israel, the Jewish Nation, whether willingly or unwillingly, hosts on its land over three million Arabs.

If his honor and the Vatican do not respond within two weeks of receipt of this letter, and does not depart from this path, we will consider requiring you stand trial before the Court of Mount Zion, before a session of seventy-one Jewish Elders of Zion, to fulfill the verses: And the saviors of Mount Zion shall ascend to judge the mountain of Esau, and G-d will have the kingdom. (Obadiah 1:21) On that day, G-d will be One and His Name shall be One. (Zechariah 14:9)

In blessing, may you guide your personal flock in the path of truth and grace, and may you merit full repentance before the Lord, and request forgiveness from the Jewish people for all of the church's machinations and crimes against them. You should note that the only country in the Middle East where Christians are not being persecuted and murdered is Israel.

At this time, one should note that the Hand of G-d is already striking Europe. Through the growth of Islam, it is being overrun and we are witnessing the West surrendering to its own occupation.

It is incumbent upon you to consider carefully the situation of Christians throughout the Islamic world, and weigh your words carefully. By granting backing to Islam, Rome can only become a victim.

That could be one way of looking at it......... but there is more to the whole story.

For example....... I personally believe that a near death experiencer named Eporu Ronald Alfred is correct..... that when the Jerusalem Third Temple is constructed and when sacrifices are being offered by Levites and Orthodox Jewish Rabbi's who back them up....... the verse in Ezekiel about some sort of stream of "living water" will begin to literally flow out from the Temple?????!!!

I don't exactly what this means but........ I am convinced that these living waters will be literal as well as metaphorical....... in the literal world they will actually begin to heal waters that have been killed through pollution and radiation...... in fifth, sixth and seventh dimensional space - time around us.... there will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.... that will fulfill the prediction in the Book of Enoch... that it will rain in hell...... and the nature of the totally messed up hungry ghosts that former Atheist Howard Storm met during his NDE.... will begin to rapidly change..... They will be given hope......
