    The South didn't want to wage a war, they left the Union to be left alone. The Union couldn't stand it and wanted a war because of it. You can keep making up lies to benefit your argument but you're wrong on every facet. I mean, you're pretty much to the point where you're saying "Oh yeah? Well it's treasonous just because it is!"

    The courts have ruled that secession was ILLEGAL under Texas v White. Therefore, the actions of the South was TREASON as is any attempt at defending their crimes.

    That's right, I have very strong ties to the Confederacy (and LSU). I have a direct bloodline on both sides of my family that links right to some of the soldiers who fought in it. I take it a lot more serious than most, and I take the flag a lot more serious than most. I probably hate seeing idiots using that flag for the wrong reasons more than you do but for different reasons. I've read the history of this war in biographical books that dated back to times before the South was purposely turned into a symbol of hatred and slavery by people who had alternate agendas.
