He was joking? I doubt that. While I don't think it was a racist tweet, it was certainly childish and petty. Not that his bootlickers care. If the feigned outrage were over trump calling Lebron dumb, instead of labeling it as racist, the steveNs and groks and russ's here would be screaming that Lebron really is dumb and how they are starving because they need groceries but can't find a picture ID.

There's no racism in what Trump said.

    Snowflakes at it again.

Maybe not. But it's not the kind of behavior that I want to see from a potus.

Makes perfect sense, considering what he has achieved in life.....

On the other hand, perhaps it's envy and stupidity that compels people to believe the President shares their own challenges.

People who say that Trump is well known to suffer from envy and stupidity are well known to suffer from envy and stupidity.

Trump is exploding liberal myths as we speak.

It's like he's opening the windows to an old house that's been sealed shut for many years. A breath of fresh air. And the sunlight is making the roaches panic and scatter.

Do you really want to make the argument that trump does not suffer from envy? Jesus, there's a mountain of evidence. You can start with his inauguration crowd.

How the <Rule 9> would you know what he understands? He actually made a salient point about trump trying to use sport to divide (not that it's a new tactic). I don't know how smart James is, and I don't think it matters - he seems to be a good man. And, he isn't in charge of the most powerful arsenal on the planet or anything. You guys should be more concerned with the low iq guy in the oval office.

Yes, of course I am making that case. And I don't go by Jesus, I go by Ocean515.

Care to provide some real evidence to support your contention?

Inauguration crowd size? Boasting has nothing to do with envy. Every politician does it.

Saying someone’s not a racist just because they won an award decades ago is saying someone’s a good dad because they bought you colored pencils when you were 6.

You're kidding, right? He wasn't boasting. He went as far as accusing media of doctoring photos!
Look, when this thing finally goes off the rails you better not take the position that it was the opposition's fault. There are plenty of red flags and warning signs.

I guess I came 'late to the party' here.

Exactly who is Lebron James? Some popular athlete in the ritualized ghetto-brawls on TV -- plus, being some kind of intellectual paragon, too? For his intellectual prowess, did they give James a Nobel Prize for doing nothing, like they did ex-prez "Messiah"? I'm trying to remember if there was ever a time when I cared....

On the other hand, a case could be made that nearly anyone's IQ is likely to increase the moment he stops watching these simple-minded ghetto-brawls altogether....

    No, I'm not kidding.

You seem to have difficulty formulating an argument. You just keep questioning my answers., and then you offer a warning?

You're defending a claim that the President is stupid and envious.

His success is well documented, and he managed to become President of the United States, despite never being elected to public office before.

So how does that demonstrate stupidity and envy?

Or should I assume you just want to call the President names like all the others who think as you do?

Accusing someone of something, doesn't prove it to be true.

I know that you are not stupid.

You, and I, and the rest of the posters know that the smears of RACIST! are a political tactic. What the use of such tactics proves, is the despicable nature of those who resort to them.

Why do you align yourself with such degenerates?

This has nothing to do with James' intelligence. It has to do with Trump's insulting mouth. Anybody who opposes Trump is exposed
to his personal attacks from his bully pit. And it goes on and on. Always a personal attack and it began at the Republican debates.

Hardly a political tactic when Trump's constant divisive conduct is on display for all to see.

Are you not paying attention? did you miss this?
"He wasn't boasting. He went as far as accusing media of doctoring photos! "

Or do you really need me to dig up a supporting link?
    Oh ok.

"President Trump used his first full day in office on Saturday to unleash a remarkably bitter attack on the news media, falsely accusing journalists of both inventing a rift between him and intelligence agencies and deliberately understating the size of his inauguration crowd."
