    Yup. I did not put deaths because we were talking spread of the virus. Plus deaths has gotten better due to more knowledge of the virus.

    The virus isn't political. The virus doesn't know we're having an election. The virus doesn't know it put some world leaders in the hospital.

    Yes it is betting on a horse race.
    There are serious question about the Russian vaccine, as you pointed out.
    I bet on the European market and the US market and there bioNtech/Pfitzer are the front runners, time wise. In Europe they have to put all the books on the table to get certified and have to be able to answer all the questions, beyond doubt.
    Thats why I would take the vaccine without second thoughts.

    The question would be, are the Chinese willing to open their books and answer any and every question beyond any doubt.

    concerning investment, one has to look beyond c19, too.
    What have those companies been working on, before c19.
    For example various cancer vaccines. With the amount of money now available and probably made, there will be no funding problem for years to come.
    Its the spin-offs of the current gold rush, which will provide long term profits in gigantic dimensions for those companies.
