    1. Immediately after 9/11... Bush did a pretty decent job in that month or so, as I recall.... Holy crap, even Rudy Giuliani was America's Mayor once.... But it's been all downhill for both since....

    Can you actually imagine Donald Trump during an actual emergency?? OMFG.... that would be a mega-disaster... He'd have been up at Ground Zero tossing paper towels to first responders....

    2. The stupid war Bush was pushed into certainly didn't help his numbers either.... I bet you can track Bush dropping directly to that..... I don't really care enough to look them up...

    Soooooo . . . nearly three years worth of an open-ended and fully funded hit squat team effort by Mueller and company of exclusive Dem Party donor investigators were not enough? So what is it supposed to take if the actual pros and experts at this stuff were just not good enough to destroy Trump? A bunch of amateur wannabe Dem Party legislator/Investigators are going to accomplish what Mueller and company failed at? Really? I know you are from Australia but would you be interested in the purchase of some ocean front property in Arizona?

    cause they know Trump will be easier to beat then any real republican candidate in 2020, Trump will help get the dem vote out in masses

    True dat, but unless the Senate goes Blue, which I think is 50/50 at the moment, full impeachment after the election isn't going to accomplish anything.... Somebody on here has speculated that when Trump loses 2020, he'll immediately resign and have Pence give him some sort of Ford pre-pardon.... That makes a lot more sense to me...

    Why would they impeach him after he lost the election? They couldn't even get it done by the time he would be leaving office and of course he would never be removed by the Senate anyway.

    This is what keeps shooting pro impeachment Dems in the foot, which is that Mueller conducted an open-ended and fully funded and nearly three years long witch hunt exclusively with a hit team of Dem Party donor investigators and STILL found absolutely nothing to charge Trump with, period.

    This is why even the average politically oblivious citizen is against additional Dem Party sponsored Impeachment witch hunting efforts; as they KNOW that there was definitely no THERE . . . there. On the other hand it is very amusing to watch the Dem Party leadership continue to shoot themselves in the foot over this issue. It's like they can't help themselves.

    Because there are many people who are fully convinced there are indictable crimes in Volume 2 of the Mueller report... Over 1000 at last count, plus one Fox Judge plus one lonely R Congressman...

    If that many former prosecutors believe there were indictable crimes in there, it's a mystery to me why Nancy doesn't feel there's enough there to open impeachment hearings, with the much lower bar there...

    It's strictly a political decision and I'll defer to the Speaker on that... Legally, that's a non-issue at this time...

    Nothing in there rises to anywhere near as criminal as deleting subpoenaed emails, erasing hard drives, smashing phones, and meeting on tarmacs with the AG. If these things don't lead to an indictment, nothing Trump has done is indictable.
