Just as with the Australian PM, (http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/02/politics/australia-donald-trump-courteous/index.html), Trump has done it again. In the last few days The Mighty Trump has threatened Mexico with intervention by the Policemen of the World, a.k.a. The Marines. Trump's small, but heavy handed approach to diplomacy has been widely reported, originally by the Associated Press (AP): http://time.com/4657474/donald-trump-enrique-pena-nieto-mexico-bad-hombres/ Also: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/pol...ops-mexico-stop-bad-hombres-article-1.2961897 https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/27647...-government-stops-the-bad-hombres-down-there/ http://www.newser.com/story/237760/trump-threatens-to-send-us-troops-to-mexico.html http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...-of-bad-hombres-or-america-will-a7558496.html There is also a denial by the Mexican president. This denial is expected of course, the smaller man cannot even be seen to be in a position where he might be spoken down to by another world leader, particularly a freak like Trump. The denial is reported here: http://www.latimes.com/world/mexico-americas/la-fg-mexico-trump-20170201-story.html http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...ent-enrique-pena-nieto-american-a7558526.html While forum rules may require a link, a school-boy level search using simple mono-syllabic words "Trump, Mex, send, troops" would reveal 10/10 hits on Bing. As the forum users appear to be able to use the forum site, it seems to be asking little of them (even Trump fans, not too bigly on Internet skills) to be able to transfer these skills to using the Bing search engine. One more thing, Trump's reported idea is entirely consistent with Rick Perry's idea back in 2011: https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli.../gIQA2qDGDL_story.html?utm_term=.cb25d48dea90 Perry is now a member of the Trump cabinet overseeing nuclear weapons (even though he did not know that when he accepted the job): http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017/01/rick-perry-energy-secretary-nuclear-arsenal There is a path for the Trump administration to establish a military dictatorship style government in the not too distant future.
So you don't believe the president of Mexico because he's short, and Mexican? That makes you a midgetphobe and a racist! How dare you?!?
I'm not sure I understand the purpose of this thread other than to invent reasons to hate Trump. Trump's threat of sending troops to Mexico has been debunked numerous times, you even posted a link to it from the LA Times of all people. And why is Mexico's president a smaller man for denying Trump's threat when he has openly opposed Trump's wall and other policies all while his people have also threatened Trump in return? http://dailycaller.com/2017/01/27/m...ing-terrorism-if-trump-builds-the-wall-video/ http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-...ombat-president-trump-unleashing-drug-cartels Bro, stop the hate or it's going to be a long 8 years.
This has been debunked and clearly YOU KNOW THAT. But you posted this conspiracy theory nonsense anyways. Pathetic.
Well if you can google it on the internet it must be true. I guess we now know Obama is the Antichrist because there's several pages on google with that accusation. So pathetic.
Damn y'all if you want to start a BS thread then start one that says 'Trump to lock up Hilllary by end of March' and then make up some BS links.
Don't assume 8 years; Trump will be lucky if he makes it to the end of this term of office without being impeached or resigning from office. Very lucky.
Did Trump really say bad hombres? We haven't seen that kind of cowboy diplomacy since Bush 43 looks like America might be making a comeback after all.
Running for President is one thing; being President is another. The public outcry at the way he is carrying out his duties is quite significant, even among certain members of his own party (and some of his staff as well) and there is growing concern every day by them. I remember when GW Bush won the election and was sworn into office; you never saw the reaction to him compared to what we are seeing today, not only in America, but from the world in general.
Cocoa-throwing students tearing university campuses apart doesn't equate to a "public outcry". The only public outcry I can see on the horizon will happen if the judiciary gets its way on the travel ban. Then you'll see the mother of all real outcries, as opposed to confected student BS.
Yes, the uniparty is in fits of anguish no doubt. The uniparty and the left only say they want change but now scream when faced with it.
What I find disturbing is that this type of stupidity is easily believed to be coming from Trump whether true or not. His stability in diplomacy and international relations is questionable at best.
Are the judiciary getting their own way? If they are following the constitution they are fulfilling the laid down Law. Regardless of their own personal point of view, the rule of Law must be maintained or anarchy will reign. Is that what you are asking for? The President has powers, but they are limited to the Constitutional Law..To change that needs a change of the Constitution. What happens in our country if the Prime Minister breaks our unwritten consitution. The Supreme Court has just prevented her doing what she wanted. - - - Updated - - - I doubt he knows what that means.
The only open question is what degree of harm will he do to the US either internally or externally before his time in power is over. The very fact that enough of my fellow Americans would buy into his nonsense to elected him president made me think that our great experiment in self government started by our founding fathers is likely ending in failure. How can you trust anyone that would vote for Trump to have future says in our fate?
The problem is that Tramp is said to be a fan of President Jackson who once told the supreme court to enforce it own rulings as he is not going to do so in relationship to blocking the force movement of Indian tribes west. So it is not unhear of for a president to refused to obey a SC ruling and this current congress is not likely to support the courts in a showdown.
This is the end result when uneducated people vote and their vote is one based on ignorance as opposed to an informed decision.
