President Trumps comments about "the squad" show why he must go

It was too good to be true. Four of the highest profile freshman Democratic congressman feuding highly publicly and with greater and greater vitriol with the leader of the Democratic Party in Congress. Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

But President Trump just couldn't leave it alone. He just couldn't stand to let other people have the spotlight even when they were his political enemies in the process of destroying each other. He had to come out with some horrendously stupid "tweets" that not only made him look stupid and racist but immediately caused Democrats to rally together.

1) First off Trumps tweets were horrendously stupid. Three of the four members of the so called "squad" Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, born in New York; Rashida Tlaib, born in Michigan; Ayanna Presley, born in Massachusetts were born in the U.S. anyway. Not just in outlying territories like Puerto Rico but in actual major U.S. states. Cortez in the same state Trump is from. Tlaib from a state the president desperately needs to win reelection.

2) If Trump simply kept his idiot mouth shut in all likelihood the Dems would have continued to self destruct making any kind of unity a year from now that much more difficult to achieve. Trump might've been able to pull of a massive electoral vote and a substantial popular vote victory in 2020. While I think he still might win I'm afraid it will be closer and more difficult.

3) This is a perfect example of an "unforced political error". There was no reason whatsoever for Trump to enter this fray. None of the controversy between Pelosi and the "squad" affected him directly. No reason at all for him to get involved. No excuse for him to "counterpunch".

4) We need a Republican president with some damned political skills.

What do trumps distasteful tweets have to do with his policies? He has saved America from socialism and white genocide. You should be greatful

 

His tweets ARE his policies. He hasn't saved anything from anyone or anything. He's insane.

 

He suggested they go to the countries of their heritage and help them and then come back and tell us what worked and how to apply it here.

A President should be above churlish behavior. It serves no purpose having a pissing contest with the “squad”. Let their own carping be their downfall.

 

Most of these women were born in this country - so it's pretty stupid on Trump's part to tell them to go back to a place they haven't been ... Trump is an idiot.

Why did Melania leave her country? It has social issues as well. Why doesn't Trump send her back to help her country?

Furthermore, Trump and his FanBoys are the ones who created the celebrity status of these four women. Trump and his boys have kept these women in the news when normally they would have just been typical, run-of-the-mill Freshmen Congressmen.
Had Trump and the right wing radio-heads simply ignored them, they would have just been average Freshmen with very little political recognition. Trump's thin-skin need to bark at every dog in the yard has just made things worse.

Ilhan Omar has most certainly "been" to Somalia. Ms. Omar's family fled radical islam ... So it's more than a "little" ironic [sickening] that Ms Omar is so sympathetic to islamic terrorists who live in her district, and also immigrated from Somalia. Ms Omar petitioned a judge for leniency when 9 Somali's in Minneapolis were convicted for having joined ISIS. It's one thing not to have the courage to fight islamic terrorism in the dangerous country you were born in, and another to defend it in your adoptive home.

I've worked in Puerto Rico many times, been to Slovenia once. Puerto Rico has a higher GDP per capita ranking than Slovenia, so they are not that far removed from each other. I saw poverty and riches in both countries. There was plenty of poor areas in her homeland for the Melania to work on. Why doesn't Trump send his wife back to help them?

 

Because Melania is not anti-American like the Justice Democrat squad is.

 

I think the "squad" must go. They had their 15 seconds of "fame", and their districts must be sick of them by now because they want to be on TV more than they want to help. They are nothing but reality "stars" paid for by the American people. What a waste of money!
