More accurately, unable to determine on their own that he IS the monster he's made out to be...

However, on topic, I have no problem with Fox airing that sh*t... They can program what they want.

I don't watch Fox News for any reason. If the news channel I watch cuts live to Trump (or Sanders or Conway or.........), I'm outta there...

Interestingly, and I know I shouldn't, the only member of the Trump Administration I find credible and watchable is Pompeo...

Except for Public TV and radio.

Funny how you overlooked that. I guess your phony Fox narrative conveniently blinded you to the real thing...

Mighty hypocritical thing to ask someone when it seems that you're the one who took up an indefinite residence below a rock in Nov 2016.

He makes ABC, NBC, and CBS Evening News every single day and he stays on MSNBC and CNN. Problem is, while Fox airs an entire rally speech, the other stations cherry pick and report the cherry picked sources with a heaping side of their personal opinion.

Why would you take issue with one out of all of those news agencies showing the entire thing so people can hear and see for themselves and make their own decisions?

They usually just highlight the many lies he tells, wait....that means they would have to air the whole rally.

Agreed. It's all about generating an audience, and giving them what they want to see.

That is what drives the left's MSM partners. Audience = Revenue.

So do you think you should be able to control Fox News's coverage of Trump? What a fascist thing to say.

Fox is Fox. They wont' change and don't be surprised when they don't. I think the better story is that Trump has to keep doing 'campaign style' rallies even though he won. I guess it's the only way to recreate the very personal love and adoration a candidate gets at Rallies but a President rarely (or at least, used to) enjoys.

Agreed, and it would be the first segment they discussed on ABC, NBC, and CBS nightly news.

There’s nothing to apologize for. And if there was, it sure as hell wouldn’t be owed to lefties, who last I checked support an ideology that has led to 100 million+ deaths around the world and counting.

You just don’t know what to do since it isn’t a Romney or Bush like Republican in office, on whom the normal tried and true media spear campaigns work flawlessly.

Instead you have Trump, who is like a M1A1 Abrams, and you’re the little temper tantrum throwing children shooting spit balls from a straw at.

It is funny to watch you boys and girls, I am entertained. So, thanks for that contribution at least.

No, it's "We report, you decide." I'll tell you why Trump and his supporters call it fake news... Watch how other stations cherry picked his words to make it sound like he told his crowd he could murder someone with no repercussions.

Trump during a rally in Iowa in Jan 2016:
"They say I have the most loyal people -- did you ever see that? -- where I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, okay? It's like incredible."
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Reuters in Jan 2016:
U.S. Republican front-runner Donald Trump expressed confidence on Saturday that he could push back attempts by his rivals to knock him off his top perch, saying he could stand on New York’s Fifth Avenue “and shoot somebody,” and still not lose voters.
    --------
    The Guardian in Jan 2016:
US Republican frontrunner Donald Trump is so confident in his support base that he said he could stand on New York’s Fifth Avenue “and shoot somebody” and still not lose voters.
    --------
    NPR in Jan 2016:
With less than two weeks to go until the Iowa caucus, Donald Trump remains characteristically confident about his chances. In fact, the Republican front-runner is so confident, he says his supporters would stay loyal even if he happened to commit a capital offense.

"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" Trump remarked at a campaign stop at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. "It's, like, incredible."
    --------
    NBC News in Jan 2016:
Donald Trump said Saturday that his supporters are so loyal that he would not lose backers even if he were to shoot someone in the middle of downtown Manhattan.
"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, okay, and I wouldn't lose any voters, okay?" Trump said at a rally in Sioux Center, Iowa as the audience laughed. "It's, like, incredible."
    --------
    CBS News in Jan 2016:
According to Republican presidential contender Donald Trump, his supporters are a staunchly loyal bunch -- so loyal, in fact, that the billionaire could get away with some pretty drastic acts and his fanbase wouldn't bat an eye.

"My people are so smart -- and you know what else they say about my people? The polls?" Trump asked a crowd at a Sioux Center, Iowa, rally Saturday. "I have the most loyal people -- did you ever see that?"

"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" he said, referring to the major street in New York City that cuts through Manhattan's large commercial district. "It's, like, incredible."
    --------

At no time did any of these first few articles I pulled mention that Trump was quoting someone else, they all made it look like it was his own claim. This is why people don't trust the news. Every one of those articles were blatantly misquoted and blatantly taken out of context.

Well, that's why they show the whole thing. It's nice being able to form your own opinion, wouldn't you agree? It's better than getting a one-sided opinion as the only source. Fox reports, we decide.

Right. Like when he told his audience that he could stand in the middle of Fifth Ave and not lose a voter if he shot someone?

Presidents didn't have to reassure his fellow Americans that he still has millions of supporters in the past. The news media wasn't so quick to bring certain ones down. You gotta do what you gotta do in this day and age.

That is entirely incorrect, here is the actually quote, it was no taken out of context nor was Trump quoting someone else, it is all him:

And the "we report, you decide" is entirely bogus, did you notice they dropped the "fair and balanced" section?

Likely most of his supporters follow Fox News, so I'm not sure how they wouldn't realize he still has supporters. Though if Fox can't even bridge that gap, I doubt campaign rallies will......

Yeah, it is news like Celerbrity Apprentice is news, it is reality TV orchestrated by the White House with full 100% cooperation from Fox, which is exactly why Fox has turned itself into State TV

So you are happily admitting you don't get any of your Trump-related news directly from the source, unless it's from Pompeo? One could conclude this means you get nearly all of your news in clips and sound bites which have been thru your left-leaning spin machines.

That explains a lot about your positions, actually.

Even long after the shine was gone from Obama and I'd realized what a mistake I'd made in voting for him, I still listened to him.

I think they fear the more people who follow Trump without their anti-Trump spin, the more people will warm up to Trump and likely even become Trump supporters. They must keep spoon-feeding the anti-Trump rhetoric to keep their base ignorant and toeing the line. (Sad!)

That is not true, you don't have to see umpteen Trump gym rallies to know what he has to say, he has been using the same shtick for three years now, if you've seen it once you have seen it, and it certainly isn't news

And the Fox audience, or those attending the pep rallies, are the kool aid drinkers, and they aren't ever exposed to anything critical of Trump, if they were, it is automatically labeled as "fake." You know the man knew exactly who his audience was when he proclaimed he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose their vote

Learned EVERYTHING I needed to know about this man and his future presidency pre-election... Have only been pleasantly wrong twice (not bad for 16 months)... Syria and North Korea (till he oversold that one)....

The news I get from news sources... I'll leave the propaganda directly "from the source" to you...

P.S. Obama was listenable, even when he was wrong... Trump is not, even when he is right....

Translation, the democrat industrial media complex that gives Trump 90% negative coverage refuse to cover his massive popularity.

It's not just those examples.... People right here on this forum take that quote out of context regularly, maybe even as recently as yesterday.
