Lemme see here, because the Mufti wouldn't take in the Jews, Hitler had to kill them? And that at least partially absolves Hitler? I'm not sure of the history at this time. Hadn't the Brits set up a mandate in Palestine? Did the Mufti have any authority to refuse entry to the Jews? I know for sure that Hitler's original intent was to deport the Jews and he thought that was the reason for Palestine. At that point, he had been brutal mostly to Jews he thought were communist party members or revolutionaries. As of now, I don't know if Bibi is right or wrong. As usual, I get the feeling the Brits were complicit in keeping the Jews out of Palestine, although now wouldn't be the time for Bibi to say so. My how we like to revise history as we move through it.
Jews already lived in Jerusalem. Why should they take in hundreds of thousand of European refugees, just because Christian Europeans couldn't stop killing them?
