Maybe there is still hope for America. It's refreshing to see 6% more people see the taking of lives from the most innocent as being morally wrong.

So, despite all the code words of zygote, bag o cells, fetus, war on women etc etc, people see right through it and the immoral act it is. I am happy to see the support of taking of lives is dropping.

I suspect it is tied to Obama in some way. Obama is pro-choice, and with the recent Catholic Church contraception issue, the Planned-Parenthood fiasco, and the Obama's political ideology in general, it's just backlash against him, not a true shift in people's stance on this issue.

Either way, I'm quite glad the Supreme Court does not operate based on polling data.

Slowly but surely people are coming to their senses. Eventually, legal abortion will be phased out entirely.

Amen, abortion is a stain on society. Even most countries in Europe are more restrictive on abortion than the US is.

And the least restrictive ones have the fewest abortions, how about that?

Cady where are you getting your statistics from? The same place that would have equal numbers of abortions pre-Roe vs. Wade as post?

    The Lancet...

Richard Horton, editor of The Lancet says :

I didn't cite any numbers pre or post Roe v. Wade. When you asked, I responded:

However, you have continued to ignore studies showing that restrictive abortion laws do not lower the abortion rate. What is your evidence showing that abortion rates increased after Roe v. Wade?

You think it is morally wrong also, I gather? Why?

    Why are you happy?

Dont worry, the liberty for a woman to abort their fetus is not going anywhere.

Right, because of capitalism and the amount of money that multi-million dollar abortion companies make off of it.

WEll…..we will see that when they come back to tell everyone Obamas Health Care was unconstitutional. Yes Obama is in trouble isn't he? People are seeing and learning that abortion is much more than they thought. A lot has to do with this abortion for sex selection. Now your side says abortion is ok, its moral…its none of anyones business if or why a woman aborts. Now people are really looking at this issue…and want to make a stipulation regarding abortion….no woman can abort if she is carrying a child what she didn't want based on sex. Is it there business? No….But abortion once again is up front and center. Abortion clinics are closing all over the country….opinions are changing.
