Obviously a fully comprehensive program that includes all forms of birth control is going to be the most effective. Not all people are the same and will benefit from same system.
The link looks suspicious and not from a legit site. I could not bring myself to risk clicking it let alone trusting the source of it as a real document.
The government does register marriages though. It wasn't that long ago that almost all states required both people to take an STD screening test before the marriage would be granted.
Some could extenuate that vein of logic and try to argue that you don't really need to have sex or abortions either. Says a lot about you that you think abortions (elective ones) are more essential than marriage.
You are incorrect. Not only are there cases where being armed saved the victim, it is also a deterrent. Female law enforcement officers are not getting sexually assaulted. The claim that owning a gun increases the risk is not possible. Either you are claiming that criminals intentionally target those they know are armed, or selling correlation as causation. Instead of bank and forth cherry picking, here is the big picture. Throughout history, the vast majority of murder is committed by government. The vast majority of victims were unarmed.
True. I don't believe government has any business in ones personal affairs. If someone wants to marry several people, I see no reason to interfere.
Marriage registration is the basis for a variety of benefits that married couples get. Also, marriage registration is a legal foundation for decisions made in divorce.
True. This is a state by state law in the US. In California, there is no such thing as common law marriage. You can live together as long as you want, of course . However, if you want the benefits of state marriage, you do have to register your marriage. And, the marriage starts on the day of registration.
... What's the failure rate of abstinence? If you pregnant when practicing abstinence, it's because you stopped practicing abstinence.
Actually very high. Mainly because people DON’T https://www.guttmacher.org/fact-sheet/abstinence-only-programs You don’t want to know how much this is costing the American taxpayer. If you scrapped this and put the money into making LARCS accessible you would halve at least your teen pregnancy rate. https://cdphe.colorado.gov/fpp/about-us/colorados-success-long-acting-reversible-contraception-larc
You can't give anyone abstinence. It's been tried many times. In fact, the need for perfect execution is one of the failure points of some of the other forms of birth control, too.
