Legalistic niceties aside the first thing prosecutors must do is establish a prima facie, (on the face of it) case and once that is established the defendant must prove his innocence or the case already there will prove him guilty automatically. Very few do. Just about all sexual harassment cases involve many instances over an extended period and usually more than one victim who has no reason to lie and many to keep quiet. The ruination of a defendant's life on the basis of just one accusation is a myth, I don't care what you've heard.
