In order to save the world the bother and tedium of watching yet another farcical episode of what purports to be a presidential election why not just give it to the highest bidder and have done with it. All the billionaires can bid for it at Christie’s and then whoever wins can move into the White House and do whatever the hell they want.
The presidency isn't won with money. The current occupant won it with hate, fear, lies, manipulation, and deception.
