If there are now 150,000 deaths from COVID, it's because Trump denied the threat for weeks, and refused to act, preferring to push the agenda of reopening the economy far too soon.

It's for this reason that no other Western nation is experiencing a second wave as pronounced as that of the US.

Even those with higher initial death rates, have fared better than the US... despite a national lockdown of at least 45 days.

Voters know Trump's management was catastrophic and he'll pay for it on November 3rd.

So if we keep the economy open and more people die, it's Trump's fault. And if we close the economy and the economy tanks, it's Trump's fault.

    That's exactly right.

Because at the time when action should have been taken, in early March, Trump claimed that the virus was a joke and that it would disappear with the warm weather.

150,000 deaths later and an economy in ruins, he's the one who's largely responsible for what's happening.

Interesting because in the beginning he was quoting what Fauci told him: At the time that the virus was no big deal.

But now the left wing media hides Fauci saying as late as mid-February that they didn't expect the coronavirus to invade the US significantly although it was possible.

Now that the virus did become what it is Fauci is off the hook and it's Trump's fault.

    Typical liberal TDS BS.

He said this risk was low "currently," but that this could change and that it would be "unrealistic to deny" that this could become a global pandemic. Trump didn't take it this seriously. Typical Trump worshiping BS.

    It's Fauci's fault.

And the Democrats... because they impeached Trump and he was too busy to deal with the pandemic.

Maybe the Trumpsters could file charges against Fauci for crimes against humanity, just to make you look even more ridiculous.

Are the governors to blame for Covid-19 too?

As expected. Key point will be how fast we get growth back to normal levels. We should expect some pain until next year when they say the vaccines will start rolling out.

No, but they are to blame for the economy in their respective states.

We are teetering on the brink of a depression greater than the Great Depression. If the blue states refuse to open their economies, they will crash the economy and we will get the largest economic collapse in world history. The number of deaths associated with such an event will absolutely annihilate Covid deaths. We already have 10,0000 people starving to death a month around the world due to the first shutdown. If the economy collapses, that number will rise to 100,000s a month quickly. People like me who accumulated wealth over the course of decades will lose everything. If your state is forcing partial shutdowns, you should be in the streets protesting. If you take to the street after a complete collapse, you are accomplishing nothing. They are marching us over a cliff.

Here is the truth to power:

Donald Trump is primarily responsible for what's happening right now.

Any other attempt to find someone else responsible for this disaster makes you look even more ridiculous and shows how desperate you are.

I know that you Trumpsters are trying to adapt reality to your political views, but the blue wave next November is going to stir you like never before.

It's pretty clear you don't want to talk about the virus. Gee, I wonder why that is...

So you're more worried about your wealth than the health of the people? Even if businesses were to open up they can't force employees to go back to work.

Some pain?! How long do you think it would take to vaccinate the entire world of 6 billion people? The US economy cannot get back to normal until it is safe to start bringing in imported goods by ships and planes and foreigners traveling to the US.

You're right. It is the virus that keeps the economy closed, and not just here in the US. The US economy depends on the global economy. The US is not an isolated economy.

    I know.

    He hasn't done anything.

If he had just initiated a containment strategy with the governors, we wouldn't be where we are today.

It would have taken 45 days of a national lockdown to get the upper hand. And a law to make masks mandatory at least in stores.

As did Canada, Germany, France and so many others. Over there, no significant second wave.

But in the US, the President didn't give a damn about human life and he thought COVID was going to get away with the warm weather.

The result is 155,000 deaths in 6 months and the worst economic depression in history.

I hope you won't be surprised when Trump gets his **s kicked out of WH next November.

And you guys won't take any responsibility for your governors and mayors doing their part huh? Many of us are having to take our local democrats to court to force them to address their own legal overreach.
