    China’s establishment of air defense identification zone was in the spotlight at the US state department's press briefing on Wednesday.

    "As we know that from 1970s, Japan has extended its Air Defense Identification Zone several times, and there is a report that Japan extends ADIZ into Taiwan space. Does the US Government worry about this issue? Are you going to communicate it with Japan regarding this?" CCTV reporter Wei Xuejiao asked the US to comment on Japan’s identification zone, but without success.

    "I don’t have anything more for you on that, unfortunately," Pusaki said. (End text)

    2. It looks like Biden has to try very hard to evade the same question during his visit to China next week.
