So, there you have it. Sixteen Trillion down the gurgler because of racism.

The loss is to the whole of society, not just the people who are discriminated against.

The USA would be a wealthier and nicer place if racism had been eliminated decades ago.

I'd put that on the heads of the fools that think that racism is a political asset and keep promoting racial conflict. They need racism as an issue; need it to manipulate people... and the people who buy into it.

Presidential elections are very much a poll of views, often swing on 1%. IF systemic racism actually existed in America today, Barrack Obama would never have been elected- it would have been absolutely impossible. Regardless of what people show publicly, if only 1% of us were racist, Obama would never have got their secret vote. Since he was elected twice, it's been proven twice.

Racism as a weapon and tool to gain power is profitable, and certainly very useful to immoral politicians. It's also a kind of disease, whereby many blame racism for their personal failures, thus avoiding responsibility for themselves. That's not a rare thing- it's a common one; such people keep a racism chip on their shoulder and it is the go-to reason for everything that happens. Yes, there are still some racists. Soon there will be more, as the current outrageous behavior convinces people that there is a reason for racism after all, and begin to see it as valid. The big losers are the quality blacks who are good citizens, parents and productive members of society, which deserve full respect- but all of us are being damaged by the low-lifes that promote the hate and destruction we are seeing everyday.

Black Lives Matter is wrong. All lives matter- to the extent they help benefit and build a good society.
Those who do not, those who cannot or will not be civil or respect others are trash- of no value now, and very unlikely to have value in the future- and their color does not make a difference.
BLM is an insult to all races, including the human race.

Why is it the only ones that continue to hammer racism are Democrats? How does a racist society elect a black president?

I would guess it has more to do with the fact black owned businesses are 2-3x more likely to fail than white owned businesses.

50% of the total murder
40% of the total assault
30% of the total rape
55% of the total robberies and
40% of the total violent arson

They arrive at this number on the assumption that Blacks would be as productive as whites if it weren't for racism.

A very dubious assumption, imo.

 

The prevalence of violent crime in America by race/ethnicity is roughly the same among whites, blacks, and hispanics between 1-1.25% of those populations.

So if your population percentage is correct than your data must be skewed a bit unless, of course, the data is not representative of America. As in from a place within America where the density of a specific race/ethnicity is skewed for instance, a predominately black neighborhood with few whites or Hispanics or Asians.
