    That happens. On the upside, that is the difference success and not. Customers and I often joke about our 2 AM emails. And you don't get emails at 2 AM from worker bees. Those always come from the owners and high level managers. I have my own company.

    But my work was my life for a long time. Not good to overdo it. It's tough to find balance. If I ever find it I'll let you know. ;)

    A good rule of thumb, don't piss off the cannibals.



    This reminds me of an old friend, long passed now, who was quite the world traveler. At one point he took a row boat down a river somewhere in deepest darkest Africa [maybe South America...] to a remote village, where he spent a week with a tribe that had been cannibals only a decade or so earlier.

    They had no use for money so you were supposed to take them practical gifts. I asked my buddy what he took. Among the items listed, he gave them razor blades, which seemed to me a very bad idea! :D

    Forevermore, if I wanted to give him a bad time, I would say, yeah, what do you know? You give razor blades to cannibals!
