    You posted a bunch of idiocy. Mainly about President Trump embracing dictators. Every president has to do that to conduct any kind of foreign policy. Democratic iconic president FDR buddied up to Stalin. Republican Nixon buddied up to Mao.

    Those two foreign dictators killed so many they make Kim Sung look like a rank amateur. Want more recent? Jimmy Carter exchanged kisses with Brezhnev who at the least had the blood of thousands on his hands.

    Kennedy made nice with Khrushchev and Diem among others.

    Leading a country the size of a continent and a third of a billion people requires a bit more than running toward a large ball and kicking it.

    That is absolutely and categorically not true. They have had to work with dictators. Even with some who have tortured and killed Americans, like the ones that Trump favors. But no U.S. President has had to praise them. And much less claim publicly that they are more credible than our own intelligence agencies.

    No! The evidence of Trump's absolute lack of patriotism is very public

    You wouldn't know patriotism if it licked you on the butt. Patriotism sometimes requires you to perform unpleasant tasks with a smile.. Patriotism requires that you rank yourself second in importance to the country and that is where Rapinoe fails the test.

    That's exactly right. Patriotism requires you to do unpleasant tasks. Like getting up at 5 in the morning every day to train. Not to tweet stupidities. That's exactly what I'm describing in the OP. The only thing Trump has done is hug a flag. He thinks symbolism is more important than action.

    Rapinoe proves her patriotism through actions. Not symbolism. Trump has done nothing to prove his.

    Your patriot and one of her fellow nation-hating team mates just pulled the U.S. flag through the grass as a classy leftist style F.U. to the United States. I understand that Barack and Michelle Obama cheered, however . . . and so that's nice. I guess it brought back cherished memories of how they cheered and clapped when Obama's former beloved mentor The Reverend Wright howled "God DARN America!" Good times.

    Oh please. The economy has been good under President Trump (or at least stayed good if you want to credit President Obama) and no matter how many of the idiots prattle about President Trump "going to start a war" the facts remain that he has ordered few military actions.

    Back when I was an athlete I didn't consider myself a patriot because I trained longer and harder than most people. I instead considered myself a patriot who happened to also train as an athlete. Only leftists could possibly get confused regarding the difference. Sheesh!
