Currently 9 states can recall any elected official. 29 have limited recall rights and 10 states none at all. That means if anyone Lies their way into office, the state is stuck with them for the duration. We need a national law allowing for the recall of any and all elected officials in every state. We the people need a countrywide process to remove elected officials who no longer represent the will of their constituents. I think this would go a long way toward keep those politicians that will say anything to get elected then prove they are representing the special interest that helped them get elected. If we simply keep removing them from office, the costs to the special interests to put and keep them there will out weigh the benefits, the money simply drys up. It will be interesting to follow the recall right to the end and see if these folks really represent the majority of Colorado's constituents and keep their jobs or whether they are nanny governmenters who think they know what's best for everyone.
