Christian teaching does not say the creator, God, didn't also create a situation of evolution.

I believe the election came down to two main things:

    1. Youngkin did not personally attack McAuliffe and focused on the issues while McAuliffe attacked Youngkin as being a Trumper

    2. The education thing was really, really big. The average Joe and Jane voter started to see just how out of touch and woke Democrats have become

It's literally his only schtick and why I can't take any of his posts seriously. Seems like a lefty getting paid to promote because I can't imagine anyone so infatuated on Trump. Talk about cult like, geez.

The ONLY cloud over Election Day in Virginia...the Virginia State Senate WASN'T up for re-election TOO.... LEST we forget, Republicans ALSO TOOK BACK the House of Delegates, likely would have been a clean sweep but I'll take the outcome GLADLY!!!

Yes. Yes it does. From what I've gathered from the experiences of the kids and the parents. And the nonsense teachers post on social media.

It holds no value or substance and should be removed

That is just your opinion. I suggest you attend more PTA meetings or get a position on the local Board of Education if you want to have some input on the curriculum.

    Education is a woke mess.

Please detail to me the benefits of teaching CRT or any of these kind of tenants that are race-based in public schools I'm dying to hear what benefits you think this is going to lead to

I'd actually say Virginia isn't the issue for the DNC, it's that they nearly lost NJ to a virtual unknown with very little effort, that is really the omen for 2022?

Virtually no one had heard of Glenn Youngkin in Virginia or elsewhere before he began his campaign so both results were shockers. But there was a race in New Jersey that really had to scare the DNC:

Longtime New Jersey state Senate president loses in upset to truck driver who spent $2,300 on his campaign
    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/edward-durr-new-jersey-senate-steve-sweeney/

When you drill down into these local races in Virginia and New Jersey that's where you'll really find some political tea leaves to read, and none of them are good for Democrats. For example, here in Virginia, Democrats lost ground in swing districts, suburban districts, majority Black districts, and they lost the Latino vote. They also saw significant defections from their own voting bloc. It really was a disaster, and it was an even greater disaster for socialist "progressives" whose policies were rejected from coast to coast. In Uber-Leftist Seattle, the media described the election results there as "progressive fright night", as moderate Dems and the first Republican in 30 years won their city-wide races against their lunatic Leftist fringe opponents.

The MOST Votes for a Sitting President.

Also, the MOST Votes for a LOSER!

Also, the Largest LOSING Margin Percentage-Wise:

    Biden 51.3% to Trump 46.9% (-4.4%)...

...Than any Incumbent President Running for Re-Election (in an Election that didn't include a substantial 3rd Party Candidate, who received over 6% of the Vote) since Herbert Hoover's Loss in 1932.

    Since Hoover in 1932...
The Only Other Incumbents to Lose Re-Election:

    Ford '76 (Lost by 2.1%)
    Carter '80 (Lost by 8.3% -- 3rd Party John Anderson 6.6%)
    GHW Bush '92 (Lost by 5.6% -- 3rd Party Ross Perot 18.9%)
    Trump '20 (Lost by 4.4%)

So, Trump has quite a Dubious Record as a Presidential LOSER.

While Biden got the most votes in us history, you need to come to terms that trump got the second most votes in us history

    So people clearly support trump

    SOME Do "support trump"

74.2 Million (in a country with pop. estimated at 333.6 million)

So yes, it can be argued that 22.2% of America "support trump".

    As far as this:

"trump got the second most votes in us history
    So people clearly support trump"
    :roflol:

    That "Metric" Means NOTHING.

Unless you also subscribe to this statement:
"hillary got the first most votes in us history
    So people clearly supported Hillary"

    Funny how that works.

I agree with both your points.

Everyone's been talking about your second point but I think the first one has been under-appreciated for the most part. I think Youngkin's refusal to go negative like McAwful did was one of the more effective moves on his campaign's part.

LOL - Amen to that, joe.

People outside the Commonwealth might overlook that but we certainly haven't. I know Virginia Democrats and their comrades in the DNC would like to overlook it because the more everyone drills down into the district elections the worse things look for Dems.

Did you see James Carville's comments after the elections?

"Some of these people need to go to a woke detox center" :roflol:
