First time a republican has held a seat in this region since reconstruction. This is the beginning of allot of change coming this fall. It's looking that Democrats are officially losing the Hispanic vote!

I agree. Dems are bitter that the first Mexican born woman to serve in congress will not be one of their members. It’s interesting watching Dems accuse the GOP of racism and misogyny with all these new minority and or women representing us at the local, state, and federal level.

 

I'm reading a great book called "The Dictatorship Of Woke Capitol". If you'll remember, one of the false prophecies of Karl Marx was that a global workers revolution would sweep all the world, overthrow the existing power structures and implement the workers paradise. Well, that didn't happen in the West, or really, in much of the world. Rather than accepting that reality falsified their predictions, they began to build all these other theories to explain the failure, that if corrected, would allow violent revolution to sweep the world, followed by the glorious workers paradise. Keep in mind, these are cultists, they are barking mad and they rather eagerly embrace violence. The entire program is built on the expectation of a "necessary" violent and bloody revolution.

To their great anger and frustration, we clearly are not interested in their madness, we don't want a bloody and violent revolution exchanging our freedom and liberty for being ruled by violent blood-thirsty authoritarian cultists. So you will see their rage directed at our love of Freedom, Liberty, Private Property and Effective Self Defense, all of which inhibit their terribly destructive dreams.

Their current "answer" to explain our rejection of their offering is that we live in a false construct of "apparent liberty, freedom, and liberty" but that in reality it's a hateful evil exploitive system built on racism and misogyny and if only we would embrace their esoteric enlightenment, we would see the "truth" and eagerly join them in destroying our current system.

Interestingly, these folks love the Lying Outlaw Slavers of Red China, who actually are violent exploitive misogynistic racists. Start with the premise that these are mad dangerous destructive cultists, who cannot be reasoned with, and who are wholly unfit for authority of any kind, and you really know everything you need to know about them.

"A Texas blogger paid by Democrat Rep. Vicente Gonzalez’s campaign is attacking Republican opponent Rep. Mayra Flores as “Miss Frijoles” and a “cotton-pickin’ liar,” prompting a wave of denunciations by fellow Democrats."

"The language first surfaced three days after Gonzalez’s campaign wrote a $1,200 check to The McHale Report blog June 24 for “advertising services,” according to the Democrat’s Federal Election Commission finance report."

These particular vicious racist bigoted Democrat clowns are far more mean than smart. "It’s even more toxic than the imposition of the “Latinx” label on Hispanics, who almost unanimously reject it despite Democrats’ insistence on its use. Jill Biden’s “breakfast tacos” comment on diversity came at a UnidosUS “Latinx IncluXion Luncheon,” for which conservative Hispanics had already begun criticizing her. Calling a conservative Hispanic “Miss Frijoles” is but one small step removed from calling Flores a “beaner.”'

Gonzalez is a regular payer to the bigot and racist blogger McHale. Last year he paid him "$1,000 for advertising, and the blog is full of posts with racist, crude and bigoted language, like the use of the N-word and derogatory references to women’s private parts, including Flores’ body."

Yeah, we'll see how that works out for these racist bigoted misogynistic haters.

The blog has called Flores “Miss Frijoles” 21 times.

And she won with 15k votes…total, not margin, in a district of 700k people. As always super low turnout benefits republicans. Let’s see how she does in November.

 

I always wondered why Mexicans voted for Demonrats.. She's beautiful too! and I eat frijoles most every day, so Miss Frijoles is kind of an endorsement for me.

 

It wasn’t just a two person race and there are under18 and non citizens counted that number in any district. Also AOC got a similar number of votes her first non November election

 

AOC got 78% of the vote, Flores didn’t even hit 51%. I’m sure she has a chance, those southern texas latinos definitely lean right on many issues. But that win doesn’t say much about her chances.

 

AOC got about 15k votes in her first election when she took out the next in line to be speaker in a primary. Winning the primary is winning the election in her district.

 

You’re right, my mistake. But she ran in a heavy dem district as a dem and against another dem. Very different than Flores winning in a dem district with low turnout. Again, I’m not writing her off, I know first hand how those southern texas latinos are, she’s got a shot.

 

And her general election opponent helped her a lot by launching a scandalous attack ad against her through an offensive hired blogger.

 

If she gets in, what kind of representative will she be?

 

She already IS in. She’s creating a record for herself as we communicate here. The prior congressman resigned to take a different job. She won the election to complete the term. Due to census redistricting, she and another incumbent will be competing for this district in November. The one who hired a blogger to make a racist attack on her.
