Wait, you seriously think a higher minimum wages creates slower economic growth ?

    Can you show your work......

in California a Chicken McNugget Happy Meal is $9.38 per.......

In Iowa a Chicken Nuggett Happy Meal is $5.39 per......

The pricing is already factored in. So in California the restaurant is keeping more of the money. How is the min wage increase causing them to go out of business ?

None of these progressives have any idea of how the real world operates. That’s why they end up in government implementing policies which do harm to those that they claim their policies will help. And people continue to vote for them.

I disagree with your view of corporate welfare. They don't tax your pet. Is that a form of pet welfare? If the government was not around, you would still have corporations. The government does nothing for allowing anything. It prevents stuff. When something new comes along, eventually, they will do stuff until the public views that they are doing something that the public doesn't like or that the government discovers that they can get more money from it. At that time, the government will step in and prevent them from doing that thing and tax, or fine, them so that the government can get their cut.

    Why?
They should be dirt cheap. Many many were produced. Why didn't that translate to the wealth you claim should happen because of production?

Who, but you, said they do?

And you earlier listed on near 1/2 dozen reasons for slow growth or people leaving a particular area.

And min wage has nothing to do with that.

So every person who does not pay any income tax is getting welfare too? You deductions on your taxes are welfare to you?

Welfare payments are actually money GIVEN to someone not someone's money not taken from them.

You are the one stating, and pleased, that all those customers will no longer be eating there so how will they stay in business?

I never made that claim. My point is that production always precedes consumption.

Apparently math eludes you. You keep avoiding the question that you made claim to knowing....

Big Mac cost to customer in california approx: $6.00......Said Big Mac take 3-4 minutes per side, and the average grill at a standard McDonalds can handle 25-30 patties, which means they can easily make:
    number of patties = 25
Total cook time = 8 minutes
    Cost per Burger = $6.00

    60/8*25=187.5 burgers per hour

187.5 burgers at $6 per = $1125 per hour just on Big Macs......

Now tell me again how $20 per hour is putting them out of business ?
