So, all you have is a desperate straw man to flog and decided to double down on it. Vintage lack of ability but deeply invested in projection.

I completely understand the personal dislike for trump. Your emotions are not a substitute for facts. The fact remains that he said/wrote nothing that a reasonable person could translate into a call for violence. The term "responsibility" appears to be a difficult one for devout partisans.

When the hillster said the same thing, people rioted and blocked the freeway. Is she responsible or were the butthurt thugs responsible?

All I asked for was a quote that a reasonable person could translate into a call for violence. Nothing so far. May I ask about your infatuation with his Rump?

No, it was a test to see if lefties were little more than emotional trolls who would respond to anything. And the hypothesis is proven!!!

The deep of irony and self reflection exhibited above could be epic if it was not the norm for Trumpers.

“Fight like hell, or you’re not going to have a country anymore”

You’re spinning, I’ve never said anything flattering about tRaitor tRump.

You are far from correct. The "fight" political platitude has been worn out by many with Ds and Rs by their names. You do take the time to capitalize the R each time you type his name. I am just curious why.

You have not been able to demonstrate that. Maybe he wanted people to get violent. You and I can't read minds. People do demonstrate how they allow him to get in their heads.

The rage and the instigation of rage by the Republican party and Trump, its leader, against democracy is absolutely NOT meaningless.

That is the primary method of attacking democracy itself, as democracy REQUIRES the trust of the people, including when their personal views are not borne out by elections.

Or, do you share the belief that we need to end democracy in America? I don't see any other direction you could possibly be supporting, given your post.

I'd also point out that calls for increased violence are standard fare for Trump as itemized by:
    https://www.axios.com/2022/05/02/trump-call-violence-presidency

It's Jan 6. But, it is not just Jan 6. That was just the time that it became a violent Republican insurrection aimed specifically at ending our democracy and assassinating the VP.

Democracy REQUIRES the trust of the population, including when the preferences of individuals are not borne out by a particular election.

Yet, we see the Republican party as led by Trump diligently working to END that trust that is such a fundamental requirement.

So, I just have to ask:

Are you opposed to democracy as laid out by our founders?

All Trump HAS is emotion. That's why the Republican party chooses to be led by Trump, who so resoundingly promotes raw hate for our system of government, racism, and calling for violence in the case that they don't win.

America is a fabulous place to live. Yet, Trump demonstrated through 4 years of presidency that Republicans really have nothing to offer other than raw partisanship in his effort to win at all costs.

You didn’t read your axios link, some of the “examples” were legitimate uses of force such as when Trump said they should send in the NG to stop the BLM riots (the riot that burned and looted entire city blocks of Portland).

And who has actually been violent and used force? Democrats, not Trump. Democrats through union thugs (remember they showed up at Trump rallies in 2016 and beat people), BLM (who rioted and destroyed huge areas of cities and democrats just said “it’s peaceful protests” and “they need room to protest”), and antifa (the terrorist group with websites and advertisements that the democrats say is not an organization).

Now compare that to a protest on Jan 6. No comparison at all, Jan 6 is nothing in light of all the democrats “protests”.

And where is your axios link to all the democrats calling for violence against republicans? Far more of that then Trump calling for violence. Democrats call for violence against the entire Republican Party, Trump directed his comments to specific people. Neither is good, but one is very limited while the other is democide.

There was NOTHING legitimate about the violent assault on Portlanders who were protesting.
This is all a desperate charade, as protest is a legitimate political activity. I certainly don't advocate violence, but the violence at protests is instigated by both sides, and it concerns specific issues.

In no way is that an attempt to end democracy in America.

The very idea of equating the two is just plain sophistry.

Do you believe in democracy as implemented by our founders?

The depth of self reflection exhibited here is obvious to everyone except the poster. That's simply tragic but that is also the way defense mechanisms work ;)! Up is down and down is up in Trumplandia!

She's ultra right wing and sure to be working with her right wing interior minister Silvio Berlusconi, who is an ardent admirer of Putin. So, I don't see your statement here as meaning much of anything.

The real issue is how she's going to address the top two stated priorities of her party:

    - increasing the fertility rate of Italy. Their low rate has been established over 50 years and it's unclear how that could possibly be changed.

    - anti-immigration. However, Italy has essentially NO immigration policy. She can make a show of trying to stop immigration. BUT, Italy depends on immigrant labor.

They don't need immigrants. Stop trying to force ever place to be like America. Just because we are a melting pot culture doesn't mean Italy is. They are allowed to retain their heritage if they want.
No they are not dependent on illegal labor, but who doesn't love cheap labor?
