The postmodern twist is "Cultural Marxist". Instead of the proletariat against the bourgeois, it's a fight of "oppressed races" against a "supremacist race" (particular focus right now on black and LGBTQ). The core is Marxist in wanting to raze anything resembling capitalism and "revision" a new society built on Socialist/Marxist ideals. Failed world history with a post-Enlightenment and postmodern flair.

This has been being taught on college campuses since the 1990's, mainly in new Sociology departments. Grievance Studies.

Professors in other departments thought these college kids who were reeking havoc on campuses with protests, boycotts, and speech-silencing actions would grow out of the ideology when they graduated and moved on to the real world. Well, they've graduated. Didn't "outgrow" it.

Search U.S. Campus Marxists. Also, mix in Critical Theory from the Frankfurt School. There are a lot of articles about it.

 

Yes you can. 80% of black live above the poverty level. There are 20% living in poverty which is double the rate of any other race. Within that 20%, there are only a relatively few gang members, drug and prostitute dealers and others making a living with cash under the table and shooting anyone who gets on their turf. So it is a small percentage of blacks committing a heck of a lot of crime. Decent people living in the inner-cities do not talk to police or volunteer to testify against these murderous young gang members. Laws do not offer police security or protection to people who help police as eye-witnesses. They get murdered before they ever get to court to testify. They're intimidated into silence. The mob ganstas rule and ensure it isn't safe to rat anyone out to the police.

 

A guy who was a self-described College Marxist, but has moved right to being "just a Socialist" now (lol), got fired by the Cancel Culture for Tweeting the fact that people were favoring the Democratic candidate in 1968 while the protests were peaceful. As soon as violent riots broke out due to MLK Jr.s assassination, swing states moved just enough to the right to elect Republican Richard Nixon.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. History may repeat itself in November.

 

So now there are going to be four hundred years of whining and crying and looting and burning and mugging and murder in retaliation? Sweet!

I guess she had a modicum of class for not crashing the the funeral. What a sordid affair!

 

There are parts of LA that still haven't recovered from the Rodney King riots.

Now the locals complain there aren't any grocery stores or banks there, just liquor stores and cash checked places.

And the thinkers at city hall developed a solution-rename it from south central LA to south LA.

So what % of black folks would you say were actually shooting at the police? What % of black folks would you say are burning stuff and creating chaos? Where in the hell did I try to justify this behavior?

 

The bigger problem is those who deny what the root cause of these problems are.
