And you could have condemned those burning and rioting, instead you Bagdad bob' d it calling it peaceful, until very very recently.

Destruction initiated by outside influences like white supremacists and boogaloos caused the most damage. The protesters were peaceful.

So you want the president circumventing local leadership?

Thats quite a claim. Please qualify that statement.

No. The protection of civil rights is ultimately the federal government's responsibility, something that Trump has downgraded since he came into office.

So there weren't laws in place prior to the incidents that triggered the riots? Which civil rights laws were removed by Trump?

Civil rights weren't removed. They can't be without Constitutional amendments. But they can be violated. Making sure they aren't and that violators are punished is Trump's job.

It's a good thing that Trump did condemn the incident and immediately launched a civil rights investigation. Now, let's see the proof of White Supremacists protesting police brutality.

So you feel that the due process was different under Trump? That's going to be tougher to back up than your claim that most damage was cause by white supremacists.

... the primary responsibility for which lies with state and local law enforcement?
Why do you blame Trump for the costs resulting from (D) mayors and governors refusal to enforce state law?
I mean other than your obstinate and intolerant devotion to your own hyper-partisan opinions and prejudices?

It didn't just cost insurance companies it cost YOU. Rates will go up for EVERYONE EVERYWHERE and some businesses in high crime areas are going to see increases beyond their ability to pay premiums. "Peaceful" protests have a high cost associated with them. What has BLM accomplished so far? Anything other than piss of law abiding people? Had any of the protest actually been peaceful they would maybe get somewhere.

Multiple other posters understood it completely. Maybe you can read their responses for context clues before jumping into a thread.

Then the birth of BLM and the Dallas sniper who killed 5 cops is Obama's fault. Sure you want to go there? There was a car crash on the Hwy today, Trump's fault?

Yes, we understood it to be the failed partisan blame game it was.

Insurance does not cover all the damage caused by riots. Coverage is limited in many cases and small business usually are not covered due to the hight cost. Minneapolis alone is well over $500 million and small business owners are getting bills from the city for the removal of hazardous waste. They are just walking away from what was their source of income leaving the city residents to pay for the damages caused by these idiots.
    1. Remember the fact that insurance companies do not lose money. They just pass on their costs to their customers.
    2. Corporations then just pass on their costs to their customers being you and me.
    3. People that claim this has anything to do with the current administration make my day and prove it takes a village.

Did you NOT look at the freakin video of him being outraged. Holy crap!!! There is ZERO evidence it was racially motivated. NONE. What’s the matter with you? It was wrong, but Floyd killed himself. He was loaded with enough drugs to kill a few people, refused to just sit in the car and be arrested. Claimed he couldn't breath when no one was even touching him. Resisted. He ended up on his face because he chose to be there and NO autopsy shows he died of asphyxiation or damage to his neck. It was the drugs combined with all the stress of being manhandled by a foolish cop.

Remember this guy was a life long felon, and robbed a pregnant woman at gun point in her own home. He was no angel, not a role model nor a person that should be praised for anything since he accomplished absolutely nothing in his life besides getting caught on video being arrested.

    The voices in his head.

I'm still waiting for him to show me all the Boogaloo Nazi mugshots, and all the right wing agitators that were outed as rioters.

I can show you mugshots of left wing riot rats all day long, but @MissingMayor is having a really tough time coming up with the goods on any of their right wing counterparts.

It's probably a matter of the blue-city left wing DAs and prosecutors covering for the Nazis, right?

Where do you come up with this stuff? Did CNN actually convince you that black people are white supremacists?
