you are ignoring the entire video obviously. The kids were being taunted and insulted throughout the video by the black racists, then the native dudes try to instigate something. The left were trying to use these kids as pawns to get some kind of action because they were there for the pro-life march.

the permit ended 90 minutes prior to this and the permit does not allow them to walk into a large crowd in order to instigate an incident.

Threats were made against the students while there and are still receiving them. If you watch the actual videos instead of the edited one you'll see that they were approached and they never made any disparaging remarks. Their is literally zero evidence pointing to any wrongdoing on their part.

(1/5) I was uncomfortable when I saw the video & description that first went viral, so I understand the initial reactions to the CovCath video. I chose to wait for more facts before responding because the narrative did not match what I know to be the character of these students.

(2/5) The honorable and tolerant students of Covington Catholic School came to DC to advocate for the unborn and to learn about our nation’s Capitol. What they got was a brutal lesson in the unjust court of public opinion and social media mobs.

(3/5) I’ve now watched over an hour of other videos from 4 different cameras of the incident in front of the Lincoln Memorial. I urge everyone to watch the other videos before passing judgement. Would you have remained that composed at that age under those circumstances?

(4/5) In the face of racist and homosexual slurs, the young boys refused to reciprocate or disrespect anyone. Even when taunted by homophobic bigots, which was obviously bewildering to them, they insulted no one.

laws need to be passed and enforced to give better protection from online harassment
social media pages and email providers need to start requiring users to provide full names and addresses to join their sites so when they participate in online harassment they cant stay anomynios their names and addresses will be turned over to law enforcement upon a court order

 

I completely misphrased that. That's on me. They were waiting at the steps for the bus to show up. Nowhere in any of that does it have them in the way.

 

Here's the reality of the incident. Now contrast that with how progressives are trying to play it off. Consider the implications of that.

I happen to see at least two roads only 30 to 40 yards from the steps and I'm sure the memorial staff would rather have those students stand on the steps then the grass
