Only because it mostly is - although I've only just started sending a NASA link where applicable.

So we're given to believe - even though some of us don't.

Well with rockets going up at least once a week, having first been constructed obviously, and the empire-building which I daresay is going on all the time in the 'everybody up one' methodology where government-funded agencies are concerned - and I could go on but my felon finger is all wrapped up in sterile dressing, so I'm having to slow down to 85wpm, and backtrack to colrrect the typos - I'd guess it's all costing us an arm and a leg, wouldn't you?

You just won't let go will you - are you on their payroll or something?

Actually almost nothing you post comes from NASA, instead it comes from tabloid or conspiracy sites with stories based on a couple sentences from a NASA release.

In the short time I've been posting on this forum, I've taken part in numerous threads where you have accused NASA of doing something only to have it pointed out to you that:
    • The primary research was done by someone other than NASA and/or
    • The tabloid newspaper headline bears little or no resemblance to the results of the primary reseatch
Not only do you believe, you appear to be impervious to evidence.

Any evidence to support the highlighted ?

I am not on their payroll but I feel obligated to post when gross misrepresentations are used to tarnish entire branches of science.

And you appear not to know the difference between 'evidence' and 'conjecture'? FFS give it a bloody rest.

As I say, I've only been posting here a few months, but you regularly handwave away large amounts of evidence because it contradicts your anti-certain-branches-of-science conspiracy theories - a necessary thing if your whole schtick is an argument from ignorance.

You're a bigot, and as if that isn't bad enough, a gullible bigot. I'm sick of replying to your empty rhetoric and if there's any more I'll ignore it.

    OK Sir Robin ;)

It's a sadly predictable pattern, when the argument is lost, resort to claiming to be the victim of personal attacks, throw some personal attacks in and run away.

The moon does rotate on its axis. It spins once every 28 days which is why we only ever see one side of it.

You run away whenever the evidence is too strong to counter.
You do it all the time. You are little better than a troll.

The feeling is mutual because the discussions are always the same....
    • You post a link to a tabloid headline and say how ridiculous NASA are
    • I, or some other poster(s) point out that the headline bears little or no resemblance to the original published material and/or that the source is not NASA
    • You make claims about a global scientific conspiracy - claiming that there is no evidence to support the claims
    • Evidence is provided
    • You ignore the evidence
    • Rinse and reapeat

I'm 'running away' from The Don, not the topic. You'd realise that if only you were smart enough. Which neatly brings me back to why I'd rather not interact with you?

What effing 'evidence'? Jesus wept he still doesn't get it! Dol you know what evidence means? Here, have this on me . . .

. The means by which an allegation may be proven, such as oral testimony, documents, or physical objects.
    b. The set of legal rules determining what testimony, documents, and objects may be admitted as proof in atrial.
    tr.v. ev·i·denced, ev·i·denc·ing, ev·i·denc·es
To indicate clearly; exemplify or prove: Her curiosity is evidenced by the number of books she owns.

This is sadly familiar as you have done the same for me and multiple individuals that call out your ignorance. Fortunately you do provide enough comic entertainment to be of alternate use and your attention is not required.

Some good scientific discussions have come from his trolling though.
At least one person has learned that the moon does spin and I'm sure others have gained knowledge from these Cerberus threads too, I certainly have. Unfortunately, despite all his efforts Cerberus appears to have learned nothing.

What, so it means something different to you than the definition in the English lexicon then? Right, I think I've sussed you out now - you're a waffler!
