Wow! This is a gutsy decision. This is more the reason I like Scott Walker.

The decision is a no brainer, but with the constant demonization of guns by the left, this decision shows that Scott Walker has some balls.

I support this decision 100%.

Yeah, it's kinda ridiculous that I have to wait 48 hours for a handgun but I can walk right out of the store with a Barrett M82.

I never could figure these dumb-ass gun-grabbers, most of 'em are two pepperonis short of a pizza.

 

You might but he just lost a huge chunk of 2nd supporters, it is called political suicide at least when it comes to the GOP Presidential Nomination. Wow, took even less time than I thought if would for him to kill his chances.

 

I applaud this. Most gun laws are moronic, serve no purpose and are enacted by people with absolutely no firearm knowledge what so ever.

The NFA act needs to be the next on the chopping block.

Yea people should be able to get a gun while they are still pissed off or suicidal.

 

As long as you pass the background check nothing should be a problem. I walk into a gun shop and walk out with my gun after doing the background check.

What I don't not agree with is private sales with no background check what so ever. Now with that I do believe it should be law that a background check must be done and proven before just selling your firearm to just anyone you wish. That in itself is dangerous. I don't think it is the business of anyone as to whether the person does buy the weapon, but a background check should be done either way before you do sell your gun to someone.

 

Many 2nd A supporters consider any waiting periods as a form of violation of their rights. Do you not look at the posts people make on Gun topic threads?

Wait here, I am so mad I am going to drive a 1/2 hour to a gun store, shop for a gun, wait 15-20 minutes to check out, drive 1/2 hour back, and kill you. Just wait here because I just won't be able to keep this anger up for 2 days.

 

Well, because the person can be a victim of a crime in those two days.

 

No point. If you have the clean background, whats the point of adding days?? Why not make them wait a week? A month ? A year? I dont support pointless (*)(*)(*)(*).

Or they could just get a kitchen knife, or a baseball bat from the garage, or if they are really mad, a shovel from the shed/Home Depot, and have a 'tool' that can handle two jobs.

 

How does this hurt Walker with 2nd Amendment supporters? The law is that buyers still have to have an instant back ground check so why make them wait 48 hours??
